Default Indy's Comic Picks for 2.14.18

Indy's Weekly Hot, Cool and Collected Comic Picks for this week!

Invincible #144 - This is the last issue. Historically many series do not print as many last issues, and over time these go up in value. Just look at Preacher #66, or Star Wars #107 - Will this follow that trend? Don't know, but it's something to think about while your milling about in the comic store.

Stabbity Bunny #2 - Issue #1 was a huge success, so much so that I've not even gotten my order yet, and I ordered two months before they came out! My distributor is saying they should be coming this week with the #2's I ordered though. There is a variant for this book, and I was allocated on it, so the demand is high on this title.

Sideways #1 - A new series in the DC New Age Hero line. Do not sleep on these books, it only takes one character to hit with an audience and suddenly you have a $20-$25 dollar book. This could easily be that book.

Baby Badass #1 - Already sold out everywhere online, and at the distributor. Great Risque cover by the legend Dan Mendoza. This one should do well, and if the story is good, the book will have legs.. Baby Legs even!

Star Wars Thrawn #1 - Appearance of General Thrawn and with Disney doing so much with Star Wars anymore, it's always good to snag early appearances. You never know what'll happen in the future and best to get books the second they hit the shelf instead of 3rd-4th generation books that have been handled by everyone and their mother.

New Super-Man and the Justice League of China #20 - Debut of a new character

Justice League Of America #24 - Promethea makes her debut, not 1st appearance (That's Prometha #1 from 1999)

Might be splitting hairs but any Dark Horse Thrawn would be before his update EU story. Would probably fall under the Legacy umbrella because of the newest Zahn book.

I'm looking forward to Old Man Hawkeye #2. #1 was good and hopeful #2 keeps it up.
