So what is the magic number to make this a go?

We obviously know the case cost but is that the number?

This is going to give me a stroke please pm me if my bid ends up holding up .... i cant seriously read all this anymore

GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE RE OPENED BIDDING TO THE BIDDERS FOR THE ENDED BIDS THAT ENDED !

Should definitely reach the sales goal point with all the late bids getting back in the mix, unless people are having trouble watching their microsoft clock second hand click .... if only there were some way to run this whole thing without chaos. They should make an auction website. some sort of ecommerce site

Houdini, not that it matters too much now but my bids in post #1199 should have put me as the highest bidder. If you haven't updated them all yet, then I apologize. I just saw that the last updated post was after my post. Bummed people didn't overpay like I did. Hahaha

I actually had only 1 bid that counted from post 1212 - and I bid myself up (nothing else was at least $5 higher than an existing bid).

I didn't want to post those numbers because people inevitably use them against me. However...

I figure I will need $6-7k for staff. So, if we hit at least $95k, I can run the break. I am getting 4% off the hobby cases, but nothing on the jumbo. I had actually locked in on jumbo at a higher price before super jumbo were announced... so I will make absolutely nothing on those cases at all.

So, I would run the break at $95k. I would hate it, but I will do it.

Think we'll go back to the ways of old?

And now Houdini the spreadsheet says I'm winning the Schwarber and Jackson slots which I did not bid on. Sorry to be high maintenance.

You are psychic!
Sad thing is, even with bidding reopened i really don't see how we can reach the goal unless everyone overpays on everything. It might be good that i lose the Schwarber in the end and i can just stick to the cases i have incoming

The cheapest chrome spot from 2014 Bowman's 100 case break sold for $60. 80% of the slots sold for less than that tonight.

For whatever reason, no-one showed up tonight to bid on chrome, prospect or otherwise.

Could it be that people aren't seeing the return in the investments, all you have to do is look at the 50 case Chrome FB. People spent a good amount on certain spots and have hit zero autos. That alone could be scaring people away

I don't agree with the football comparison but people are definitely getting a little smarter/stingier

I read his post as comparing Dozier (CTP-46) to Buxton (CTP-69) in this auction. Dozier went for 115, Buxton for 110.
My point was that Dozier is coming off a much better year.
