Just a heads up for people that the information has been released regarding boxes and case inserts.
A question for UpperdeckMatt - There is no mention of printing plates for this release, can you confirm? thanks

The art is ridiculous. Magneto and Deadpool especially.
Sorry havenít been home in awhile and finally got to unbox the paintings. I wound up getting Toad too just because the image was so nice but donít have that one in hand yet.

Canít wait to see the cut comic cards for this set. Glad to hear they got the original X-men 1!

Quote:
Cut Comic Panels take a memorabilia kind of approach. These have original comic panels from important issues embedded in them. Among the comics being cut up (often from off-condition issues for those concerned with comic history)? The original X-Men #1.

Set looks amazing. But 1-2 sketches per case is ROUGH... it was hard enough to find "target" sketches @ 3-4 per case. *fingers crossed it's actually 1-2 per inner.

Personally I have more nostalgia with this than Marvel Masterpieces so even with the near absence of sketches, I'm probably in for some cases.

Any chance Bill Sienkiewicz is part of this? His work with 1994 set has always stuck with me.

Yeah the sketch card ratio has hurt my anticipation for this.

May buy a couple *physical* boxes to complete a set and be done with it.

You know this stuff will be overpriced on e-pack as is.

Really depends on the quality of the sketches. I much rather have 1 or 2 quality sketches than 3-4 meh sketches..the market is full of sketches.

Hopefully all the meh/crap sketches were used for 2017 Marvel Premier.

Unfortunately I don't think that's how it works

My guess is this set will be priced like FUSM and the quality of the sketches will be similar too (ie. A wide range of quality, just like any set).

Sell-sheet states 1-2 Sketch Cards per inner case. So, there "should" be 2-4 per 12 box master. What I am trying to figure out is the total number of boxes. The PMG's fall 1 per box. There are 150 cards times x 383 PMG parallels = 57450 PMG's /12 boxes per case = 4788 12-box cases ?!
However, Gold Foil Parallel /99 x 150 (1 per box * at least)= 14850 boxes or 1238 12-box cases ?

These "subsets" counted in the orignal '94 and '95 as part of the base set. Does anyone know if theyre advertising as subs but will count as base?

There's probably not 150 different PMG's. More likely something like 50 instead.
