Is it too hard for people to counter on epack? Or just be polite?

Have you tried the trade boards on ePack?

That said... here are a few tips.

Consider their wishlist! Trades are easiest when they involve Wishlist for Wishlist.

Offer 1:1 trades of similar cards (ie base for base, insert for different card in same insert).

Yeah, I almost always initiate trades based off what people are asking for in the chat.. Very rarely do I try to search one out on the clumsy epack search.

The hockey board is a madhouse and people want gold for their copper. The entertainment board is better, but there are some strange birds on there too.

Thanks for the reply.

I bought a couple of packs for fun and got one of the dual comic patches of Hive And Doctor Faustus. I have no idea what the patches are valued at. Would it be reasonable to try to trade for a sketch or should I just try to get a ton of base to make some of the color wheels of characters I like?

I went the ton of base route, but try your luck on the trade forums by offering it up for a sketch. Hopefully someday EPack will show you all the users that have a given card on their Wishlist. That would make trading much easier.

I was able to move a dual SP patch and a regular dual patch (plus some basic SP's) for a blue Rocket foil and a solid sketch of Morbius from Spider-Man on there. Is Hive/Doc Faustus an SP?

That sounds like a good deal.
It's not an SP. I made a post on the entertainment forums so we'll see what happens.

I pulled this Daredevil sketch by Nguyen Dong and it's available. I rarely pull sketches in Marvel stuff (at least not since Jusko MM). It was a pleasant surprise.

Awesome sketch.
Quick question, is it better to buy by the pack and take the chance of having a lucky streak or by the box? I'm assuming a box only yields one hit, or do boxes sometimes contain more than one hit? If boxes have only one hit I think the gambler in me would prefer to buy 20 packs and take a chance.

The only time I personally buy by the box is when the packs are like a punch in the mouth. Think S2 hockey in particular with all its stupid portraits and OPC junk. Only way you'll get YG's at odds. With this, I'd go buy the pack. I would also buy chunks of packs and not 20 at the same time.

I agree. This is probably my favorite ePack exclusive parallel they've ever had. Got me to buy more packs than I intended to just to make some of my favorite characters into color wheels.

I always do PayPal so it didnít affect me. Is there a reason you donít do PayPal?

The fact it takes about 10X longer no but it is troubling that upper deck cannot handle the credit card fees

Thanks for the advice, bought 5 packs and got 3 SPs and another patch. I should probably stop.

I did 4 packs and got another sketch. Walter Rice's sketch of Wonder Man. No time for a picture at this point though.

After seemingly being the only person to not hit a sketch on here I finally pulled one and it looks nice. Is it Winter Soldier?
