Default Just a Heads Up: Ebay 707star

Buyer made 4 offers on 4 separate cards. I accepted 2 of the offers, and countered on the other 2 (one of which was a McCovey bat card). Sent a combined invoice for the 2 cards I accepted his offers on, then got a message back stating, "Cancel my order. I really wanted that mccovey card."

I messaged buyer back and asked if he was sure he wanted me to cancel the other 2 cards that he agreed to buy, but then backed out on. He confirmed that he wanted to cancel.

Sad part is we have done business before with no issues, but never again.

Do what you like with this info.

I see your side but you kind of set yourself up for that. While he should have messaged his intentions, I usually message where I'm at on all 4 as 90% of the time when I get multiple offers, and send multiple offers, its usually all or none.

I do this also but I can see if OP has done deals with him before, expecting negotiation on the McCovey

My whole point is that, once you make an offer on a card, and it's accepted, a deal has been made. regardless of whether or not other offers have been accepted.

It isn't a huge deal, but just wanted to put the info out here.

Maybe the buyer should have messaged the seller before putting binding offers on cards...

Thanks op. Blocked
