Default 2012 Leaf Best of Football You choose the destruction method!

Thanks to all who played along. Card will be donated. I had some fun with this and was happy to see the comments good and negative. Card will go to the Philadelphia children's hospital. My cousins 1 year old daughter died recently of a brain tumor and the hospital was incredible. Have a lot of other cards going that way as well.

Just fumble it on the ground like Sanchez would. Should break the case with all the drops.

Or

Something that involves a Dirty Sanchez.

Soak it in water for 24 hours, then put it in the oven at 400 degrees.

Remove it from the oven and drive your car over it. Then drive a nail through it, hammer the heck out of it, and donate it to a random lucky winner in this forum, (charity).

Option #7, donate it to a Charity/Toys for Tots or anything along those lines.
But then there's who would want a Mark Sanchez?

Edit, just saw it's option #1

Go to a shooting range and engage in some target practice. With a rifle it would be neat to see if you could hit the patch area with a single shot. I can't imagine anything sending the message you are trying to send more than a bullet hole. I live in Texas so naturally this is an easy thing to achieve here. You didn't list this as an option so maybe you live somewhere this isn't possible? I have heard there are such places out there.

i can see you taking this to charity...the take the card from you...they realize its of mark sanchez and then start to laugh uncontrollably. i voted bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes but make sure to spray PAM on the baking sheet first as sanchez tends to stink..i mean stick

Throw it to Tim Tebow. He is guaranteed to drop it, then eventually pick it up, run around in circles for 20 minutes, then lob it downfield where it rainbows in the air and falls 10 yards in front of his receiver.

Not an option, but I vote you physically eat the card(might need a glass of water). After consumption, regurgitate the remains and send them in a Ziploc baggie.

Alright I'm going to be the bad guy here. You got what you paid for right? You didnt get the Holy Mojo OMG 1/1 Auto Patch card you hoped for, but you got what you were supposed to get. Just like busting any product there has to be more skunks than gold for the company to make any money.

Why would you think Leaf, the company that repacked, not made, this card would do anything for the auto running off the sticker? I mean if it was a Walter Payton 1/1 cut auto and the signature was cut off a little would you complain?

We all had bad breaks, thats the gamble, why all the drama? You knew the risk going in. And the out come was an autographed, limited print run starting QB jersey card and an autographed Hall of Famer card. Why go nuts over this? Disappointed? Sure, but throwing away whatever money you could make back on this break seems a little nutty to me.

Nothing wrong with that card being in the product, they can't all be home runs. When this was put together Mark Sanchez was still the solid starting QB of one of the most popular teams in the NFL. It was probably a $50+ dollar card when it was packed out. That's on the low side of what your ROI could be for this product but still in the range they were going for.

The real dissatisfaction should be saved for real mistakes like the Base Chrome Cam Newton Rookie that got into this product.

They have to put these types of cards in this to level out the PSA and BGS 10's that are worth a crap ton

It does suck but you have been seeing and reading these breaks for months now

Don't destroy it, give it to me
But my second choice would be to burn it in the oven. That'd be pretty cool.

I need to make a thread of the $600 I just pissed away at the LCS....ROI maybe $200 if lucky. You take a chance on a box of this stuff (me I did Upper Deck Greats and got a Landon Donovan auto for my $300) and it is either feast or famine...and more often it is the famine.

Respect your opinion and I am on board not expecting the home runs. I do have fun with the hobby and figured I would have a little fun here. Not in it for the money but really just to make a point about crappy cards in a best of product. If it were Sanchez rookie year then I could understand abit more but a mid range QB card several years into his career is not really a "best of" card.

Normally I would say donate the card.

But I say oven, in hopes the fumes are toxic. Or at least makes your food taste like burnt plastic.

If you don't donate it to charity, definitely hammer the #@#@#@#@ out of it. That'll relieve the most stress

I think a charity would lose money with this card. Even getting it for free. Burn it.
