My running Tony Kemp Topps Parallel Thread/Obsession

One of my COVID activities has been to start acquiring as many serial numbered/parallel Tony Kemp Topps cards as I can.

Why Tony? Well he’s a great guy, for one. A true fan and team favorite everywhere he goes. Won SEC POY and Freshmen of the Year at Vandy. Didn’t participate in the Astros’ shame. Does a lot for social justice awareness. Plays a fun game and is a true throwback kind of played, despite being doubted for his size, lack of power, lack of position, etc.

Long story short, if you have ANY Tony Kemp Topps parallels, please PM me.

2016s:

Obviously I need some black and lower numbered parallels.

2018 (the best looking set)

I’ll update this as I get more in.

I thought the same thing. I enjoy looking at my cards as much as the next guy but thought that’s a little extreme lol. Nice collection though!

So my mail has been all messed up and I got about 11 packages and a smattering of PWEs today that had been sitting in my informed delivery for a few days. Of course all delivered on the day it was raining. Anyway...

Some 2020s (Golds, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Camo)

Some 2019s (lots of golds, vintage stock, black, fathers days, Mother’s Day)

Not as much 2018

2017

2016 and heritage minors (which I am just starting to hoard)

And finally, something I wasn’t expecting. Griffan15 asked me for my address, and told me there was a hole in my collection. Opened this today and just, wow

Been looking for one of these forever (for-eh-vur) and a generous member just makes it happen.

Thank you so much man this is an amazing gesture, and definitely one I’ll be paying forward as often as I can!

I saw someone post on Twitter asking him if a game used bat was legit and if he should buy it....T. Kemp replied with basically.. "I'll just send you one".

Was that you?

I liked it when he gave Evan Gattis Homerun Hugs in Houston. I also like to see collections of players who will never be worth a ton although Heritage parallels and ones like them aren’t really my thing. Thanks for sharing!
