If sketches sustain an average of $50-$75 range, that is pretty darn good. I don't see $200+ though.
Agreed

I would also just wing it out there that for the rest of today, there's a 10% eBay Bucks offer out there and it definitely has made me willing to spend more on reasonably priced sketches.

There are a LOT. Not just a lot of artists, but a lot of great ones. Have you seen the preview posts Cryptozoic did on their blog? Since art is so subjective I'd say check those out of you haven't yet and you'll see sample sketches by all the artists and you'll know which artists you want to keep an eye out for.

Um, because I felt they were $30 sketches? Its tough to gauge the prices because the box price is so crazy, but individual card sales dont seem to be keeping pace.

Sketches will sell if priced right. If not, they will sit (and sit and sit...)

People that buy sketch cards have a general price range in mind for an artist. The license will swing it up some, but generally an artist that is a $20 artist will be in that range. For R&M, probably will swing it x3. I wouldn't expect that $20 artist to be a $500 artist with R&M.

Achilleas has the best Ive seen on eBay, Id say personally that hes got the most valuable in this set.

Theyre more than redraw stills from the show, which sets them apart.

After the work was completed, signed, returned to us and promoted in the Cryptozoic blog and social media, we were contacted by Eminy Lais's agent with the explanation that she worked as Emanuel Braga's assistant. It was requested that he, Emanuel Braga, be credited for the work instead. I don't believe we at Cryptozoic should alter the artists' sketch cards so we left the signatures on back as they were submitted to us.

That seems odd..

Is it normal for sketch cards to have assistants? I know Michelangelo had assistants help him, but Sistine Chapel>Sketch Cards.

Yup! He always delivers on the cards he draws. I requested One Piece sketch cards as a topic in that draft and I was so impressed that Achilleas not only used the anime as a theme for the card he drew, but also had a panel on the card modeled after the manga as well. I was thrilled to have been able to draft it.

Well I finished opening my case. 6 autos 18 sketches 1 plate. I didn't catch on to any box pattern that had the 3 hits versus 1. Infact it took me all 12 boxes to find the last auto. Unless the pattern was really subtle there wasn't one with my case. The 3 hit boxes were scattered everywhere in the case.

I have about 600 APs total commissioned, and after I open my cases I'll have about 350 more pack pulled, so 1000 sketches is easily in reach.

So to answer your question: DEEP

I've been planning for this set since the first rumors surfaced.

So several thousand invested? I'm assuming most APs were $50+ on average, right?

Also what's the display plan, if any? Like binders or a few large frames full of sketches?
