Ok...you have a PC...then what..do you spread them out on the floor once in a while as to enjoy them? Do you make your buddies look at them when they stop by? Do you simply take comfort in the fact that they are safely tucked away in a box somewhere? The obvious answer is that art is meant to be displayed....will someone please explain this to my wife...😳...lol!!

I went through the same thing.. okay, I'm collecting all these books because I like the art.. but, they sit in a box where I can't see them. This is why I sold 80% of my collection and now just focus on collecting a few favorite artists, and even from those I'm very select.. there's only so much wall space for display. I'm fortunate that my wife let's me display my books and statues in our home ...but lately I find myself slowly expanding to new areas and think she's starting to become a little annoyed ..mainly with my statues cause they're huge.

I still have some long boxes full of comics but those are books for speculation/investment, not because i only like the front cover.

I need a bigger home, and the sad thing is when I eventually buy a house, currently I'm renting, it'll probably be a smaller space and I'll have to downsize my collection even more. I need to win the lottery

My goal has been to downsize my collection. Everything I collected as a kid isn't really worth all that much and probably never will be. I just can't seem to figure out a way to organize it and get it done..this is what my room has looked like for close to a year now..

I'm learning a lot on the boards in regards to what kind of collector I want to be. I admire Cyber as you seem to stay off the bandwagon and , like you said, stick to select artists you like and books that already show appreciation. I also admire Indy for his ability to keep things organized and his willingness to move books for less than what he paid for them. That's hard for me to do, but they don't do you much good laying around. I learn a little something from everyone on the boards and really enjoy being a part of it.

I wonder --- if there will be any "Trump" Inauguration Day Comic like they did it for Obama.

You dont want to miss that money train when it comes --- and it will be dropping a lot of "found" money.

And history will repeat itself ---- Pick up, Pump and Dump and Do not look back!

Humberto Ramos and George Perez -- for the next four years -- will not attend comic convention in state that voted for Donald Trump.

Actually, he's going to fulfill his current obligations THEN not attend shows in Red states. Quick! Someone send me a Trump comic to have him sign!!!

I wonder if Hillary would have won if he would have stayed out Trump states. Seems rather silly to me, but whatever, it's his mouth he has to feed.

So freakin' stupid.
People DO realize that other people have a right to vote for whomever they want, right?

I know, these guys have the right to do what they want as well, but for what? What is that going to do other than potentially alienate an entire fanbase in those states simply because a majority of voters did not agree with them? SO we have reached the point where it's "agree with us or else?"

I'm all for taking a stand to promote change, but this is certainly not one that will do anything along those lines, and quite frankly, makes these guys look like whiny asshats that are pouting because they didn't get their way.

Marvel "brought back" the Hulk/Bruce Banner already in Uncanny Avengers #15?!? Wow, that was quick.

Its why buying into marvel deaths is a waste of money. Marvel never leaves characters dead, it costs them money.
