Time to buy Marvel Fleer Retro case?
I think this product has cool down a bit and I'm considering to buy a case right now or wait for case drop <$1500?

If you think the product has cooled down, why are you considering buying a case?
I don't expect prices on this product to drop. If you want a case, buy it now. But at $1500+, I think you are way better off buying singles. |

Saw a sealed case on ebay selling at 1650 BIN, its cheaper than 1799 BIN price a week before. Just hope to buy a case under 1500....

Should have posted Saturday... I could have picked up a case at the Philly show for you.
If its 1650 bin on eBay, just find the sellers contact info... They'll probably do 1500 direct. |

The cases on ebay have dropped in price because they were listed at too high a price. Cases are available at several websites for around $1600, so why would anyone buy it for $1800 on ebay? So the ebay prices dropping from $1800 to $1650 probably doesn't mean that the product is cooling down. I also wouldn't expect it to drop below $1500 anytime soon. Although like Spider-Fan says, at $1500+ a case, buying singles would probably be the better buy.

cases will never be under $1500 retail again.
if you could be guaranteed a green PMG and a Jamba in your case, it's probably a wash on singles vs. the case. |

It looks like Upper Deck found its answer to the Sketch card fever (re-introduce by Rittenhouse). Ironically more copy-paste artwork, made a scarcity of some cards, and overprice a box. It looks like is working better. So buyers go crazy to spend money in the top of the chain (directly with the company or the authorized dealers). |
