Not a criticism of anyone because to each there own but I couldn’t begin to think about paying $2k for a baseball card much less what the parallels will go for. Good grief.

I'll never understand why people are willing to pay double or triple (or 10x) to get the first one. What happens if he has another 2 inning performance tonight...

Same seller dropped a Hunter Greene purple, photographed not in a toploader, on a totally different surface than the Shohei.

I was just going to mention that. Why not wait until more cards are on eBay....I am sure the seller won't get paid.

Well, I can deduce that there might be some unscrupulous shilling happening. The 3 bid retractions are from bidders with 0 feedback. I'd like to give the benefit of a doubt, but with that evidence, it's kind of hard to.

im not sure there is zero chance. there will be a lot of fake bids and goofiness but at the end of the day it is very likely someone throws down a max bid of 100,000 with every intention of winning no matter what.
