Fine with Wedge for now at least. Not like the difference between playoffs and no playoffs is his managing so whatever. Besides, who knows who would follow, maybe another Wakamatsu who was unbearably bad.

It's nice seeing Miller get on track.

With that said, it sucks to see Erasmo more than ready to go in AAA while we hold onto Bonderman, Saunders and Harang

Congrats to brad miller, hopefully the first two hits of many. Stressful game today, but luckily Gregg was as on as he could be.

Walker line sofar: 3 IP 6 K 1 H 2 BB 57 Pitches. Probably going to be limited to around 80 pitches, so I would like to see a fast fourth inning.

Mariners crushing the ball tonight so far. Two big HR's and two warning track line drives from the first time around the line-up.

Think they actually might score a bunch tonight ...

They need them. Saunders is giving up his fair share of hits

I'll tell you what. The M's infield is solid, their lineup is impressively good, and with 2 pitchers from the best staff in Minor League baseball, they may look to finish the season at or above .500.

I agree. I think it can be a bit depressing for fans this season because of the poor start / but if you look at the staff for next year (Walker replaces Bonderman most likely, MAYBE Paxton in there as well) and the talent around the diamond ...

Seager / Smoak (kid needs to bring it second half) / Franklin / Miller / Z ... it's a good young line-up. If they can get something for Morales (who is likely gone in a few weeks), who knows.

Now the whole line-up getting their hits. Nice to see Zunino finally tally one. Kid has hit four ropes tonight and only 1 hit to show for it.

Don't forget Hultzen and Ramirez. I think the rotation next year should be

Felix
Kuma
Hultzen
Ramirez
Walker

Yea, in a perfect world but I don't think they'll be able to get all three to open the season. Hultzen likely won't be on the opening day, Ramirez is iffy ... but they're likely sellers for the next month so let's see if Saunders, Harang and Morales stick around.

He was pulled from his start this evening in Tacoma. Might have got the call.

Edit: nevermind, Baker is saying it is a weak arm still. Surprising considering his game last week.

Runners on 1st and 3rd none out, and we got ZERO runs across. Nothing pisses me off more than that

Raise your hand if you thought Zunino was going to strike out there ... (My hand is up)

Great battle for him ... even if he got lucky.
