Picked up a sealed box for $5 while my wife was garage saling it was just sitting there on the table sealed still in the plastic-hobby box and all. Man I asked "do you have any more" nope just found it in the closet...first time I ever opened one of these, cool stuff.
1 sketch please help identify the artist and how many drawn... Last edited by killerturtle; 10-13-2012 at 07:32 PM. |

YES I was sitting in the car when my wife came back to the car and told me there was a box of cards on the table for $5..so I went to look and bought it. I have never opened any starwars cards but Man I am so hooked on these sketch cards, just like the cases I have been busting from indiana jones heritage.
The lady found it in her sons closet, who was off at college. I am trying to learn the artists and numbers. I already have some favorites... Who is the sketch artist and how many did they do??? Last edited by killerturtle; 06-02-2012 at 07:45 PM. |

It looks like it says 1/1 on the back? Or are all the sketches 1/1?

Even for a retail box, $5 would be beyond insane. Heck, when's the last time you saw ANY box for $5?

Do star wars sketches sell well or is it artist and color+ number of sketches made = value?
I appreciate the advice and help. I use Beckett for sports cards what can you use for non sport cards? Thank you Most of the sketches I pull will be PC but some I will sell to help fund the addiction. |

Alot of it has to do with the artist, and the quality of the sketch, I bought one box of this product last year, and sold my sketchagraph for over $500, I have seen at least 50 sketches sell for more than that.
Some artists that have a big following are : Charles Hall, Sean Pence, Len Bellinger, Sonia Alcorn-hender, and Katie Cook, if you pull any skecthes rom these artists you are basically guaranteed to make your money back, and then some |

Generally in galaxy if your sketch is full color you can expect at least 20 dollars from it nomatter who the artist is often times you will get more. Pencil non color sketches generally don't sell we'll and aren't desirable unless it's a popular artist or has a lot of detail and sometimes a really popular character can fetch a little more.

Thank you for all the help. I have been collection Sports card for 25 years but am very new to sketch cards. It seems to be a cheaper way to have fun and collect some very unique art.
