I must sat that I am a casual hockey fan but I will watch the NHL playoffs and specifically any game 7 over any other sporting event short of the Super Bowl.

This will be fun to watch tonight.

OK, 1-1 after two. All I ask is no more penalty calls against the Caps - Carlson got a stick to the face and Chara had 2 clear interference penalties that were not called. Put the whistles away or call it down the middle.

That was a disgraceful penalty they called on Washington after the non-call on Boston.

Completely agreed. Terrible officiating.

This game is crazy though, and sudden-death OT is a fitting way to end it (and the series).

Why does every single Bruins playoff game need to go to OT??

Ugh

Huuuuuge. Goodbye Bruins (and Bruins fans)! See you next year

(For the record the Bruins were 1 of 2 teams in the East I did NOT want to face)

Yeah, I tend to believe that a sports team usually has a ONE year pass after they win a championship....but that's just my opinion.

Hell, not to mention that the city of Boston has the MOST pro championships in the past decade than any other city....by far!

Very good point. Toronto still hasn't won a major championship since 1993. The Leafs haven't won since 67, raptors have never won. Hell, even the nearby Buffalo Bills have never won

Give us a championship Boston. We'll take a Stanley Cup, World Series. Hell, we'll even take an NBA championship

Dear Boston Bruins,
The penguins would like to know who is bringing the wine coolers to the golf course tomorrow?

LOL, yeah....

Here in Miami, we're all getting ready for the NBA playoffs....it's pretty much "Championship or BUST", tons of pressure.

The Marlins also have some pressure to win, (after spending so much money) or at the very least show some dramatic improvement.

It would be so damn ironic if the "Cats" is the team that does something amazing....we'll have to wait until tomorrow.

The Devils or Rangers after they both lose tomorrow?

I don't see them getting out of the East.

Also, sorry gugs , you're one of the good ones. The Bruins are a very good team and I'm happy they are out

Part of me wanted the B's to win tonight because I'd like to see Philly - Boston round 3 but I also wanted the Caps because it guaranteed the Flyers wouldn't have to face the Rangers next round if they win their game7. Flyers for some reason just don't match up well with the Rangers this year so I'd like them to at least have some healthy D if and when they do meet up again.

Still much to be decided. Rangers win and they get the Caps while Flyers get the Fla. - NJ winner. Sens win and it's them against the highest remaining seed depending on Fla. - NJ outcome. Crazy but Philly could end up with home ice out of the 5 hole.

And the Devils could get home ice as a 6 seed!

If you want chalk in the East, go find a blackboard!

I'm sorry to say that grown men don't cry over sports. We do however know that children still finger-blast retail packs of sports cards...

And I'm also embarrassed to say that sometime in the second period the Bruins and Capitals started watching me...

Getting old sucks...

Hockey is such a cruel sport and to have a series decided by the bounce of a puck will always make this an 'edge of your seat' sport! My team lost and it's a season of what if's at this point, but I still cannot get that Bergeron 'shank' out of my head
But that's how the puck bounces! Good luck to the remaining teams as you only have 3 Teams remaining that have EVER won Lord Stanley's Cup! Should make for an interesting next month of Hockey

Bam I can now watch American Idol without feeling guilty now! Good luck with your next series.
