Default Card Shops in the Houston area?

I'm applying for a promotion which would require me to move to the Houston area. Are there any good shops in the Houston metro area?

What part of town are you moving to? There are only 3 stores left in Houston. 2 on the west side and one in Alvin about 30 minutes south of Houston.

If I get the job then I'll be in the Conroe/Montgomery/Willis/Woodlands area.

There's not a shop anywhere near there. Good luck with the job.

It’s not a shop, but there is a monthly show in the spring area. Katy has a shop. It’s about 30-45 minutes from there. I live about 30 minutes from the woodlands on the east side! Good luck, I hope you get it!

Thanks guys. I work in the area a few times per year and have been to the one in Katy a few times. I should hear something this week if I got it or not but it's not looking good. It has been silence all week. I think they would be negotiating the promotion terms with me if I got it.

A lot of people forget to mention Crazy Larry’s Emporium at a Flea Market, but it is my favorite in Houston (after Old Ballpark, which is fantastic). Odyssey’s, nice guy but I didn’t find much. I never liked Houston Sports Connection. I45 and I10 shows are great shows (not so big though, but great people and you can make fantastic deals). Tristar, twice a year, is a must-go.
To conclude, compared to many cities I’ve visited in the US, Houston has a very good choice of LCS and shows.
Enjoy your promotion if you get it. Houston strong.

There is a new shop that is opening on the North East side of town, in Kingwood.
