2-3 oz with first class tracking number is 2.89 topps.. geez

If Topps can offer free smartpost shipping for Now, they can certainly offer it for this, so it's just a matter of them updating it. Of course, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt here lol. They could keep it and not care.

I will continue to make this set

if shipping is lowered and cards are heritage like stock

if these are flimsy stock.. probably out

i will buy harper and trout and be done...

Shipping is biggest issue... fix or i will not go forward with this...

i can deal with 3 cards for 10-12 bucks a week.. but not 24

I love the idea and design, but that price needs to drop if I'm going to do this long-term.

Oof, didn't realize shipping wasn't going to be free. I continue to contend that the $9.99 for a single Topps Now card is silly. At $5 a piece plus $7 shipping for these, Topps is practically stealing. These cards are nice, but the premium price is aggressive.

I apologize if this question has been asked and answered already... but how many cards will included in this set? (50, 100 etc., ... ) or will they just keeping printing 3 per week for the next 9 months?

JoeJoeMay are you being compensated in way by Topps for plugging this set? Sorry but I have to ask because it seems like a hard sell on your part..

It's the set that never ends...(at least until it's not viable). No set limit or end date, just 1 card per player (unless they change teams).

It isn't supposed to have an end date. That's the entire premise of this program.

I can guarantee he isn't being compensated - he just feels obligated.

The 1953 tops set is 280 cards? something like that..

I would hope if this works.. once they hit that mark..

They would move on to 1954.. long way off.. Plus they have to see if this works first..

But if it does work you would think they would move to the following year... would be really weird to have it go on forever..

UPDATE: Topps tweeted me back saying if I chose Smartpost it would be free shipping. I will go test it now.

It works. Choose smartpost in US and shipping is free.

I think the idea is 3 cards per week...with no end...

So at current price + shipping you're over $1000 a year for 156 cards.

Good idea--there would need to be some way to add some interest for people who come in down the road. Starting off with a new design would help.
