So are saying this is happening or are you just really bad with topic titles and have to get clicks?

If they take ellsbury they could either trade him again or release him. If they released him it would be like paying Stanton 70 mill but getting some controllable prospects

Jeff Passan:
Sources: Yankees making progress on a trade for Giancarlo Stanton. One source cautioned nothing done. Another was confident it’s moving toward that. Either way, momentum for Stanton to Yankees is significant.

I get back the math behind just seems odd that they want from San Fran and stl taking all the contract to now having to eat a 1/5th of it or so.

Yeah me too but part of it is now with Stanton saying what teams he would accept a trade to the leverage is against Miami now. They should have found out what teams he would have approved to first before trying to move him. Either way this is going to get interesting

Don't worry, Stanton will wait until four days after the Yankees and Marlins have agreed on a deal, and then tell them that he is not willing to waive his no-trade clause because he is still waiting for the Dodgers to get involved. The fact that his agent said that he is willing to waive his no-trade clause for the Yankees, Cubs, and Astros doesn't mean that he actually will.

The OP is as bad at creating thread titles as he is at keeping a perfect iTrader score.

Right but the difference is now he has put it out there, “I’ll wave it for these four places” now if he goes back in it he does look like a jerk off.

More fake news Yankees propaganda that gets littered on this site multiple times a day. Pretty funny to me that y'all still won't win anything with Stanton, but y'all must be so butt hurt after maitan and otani stood y'all up. Good luck getting past the Astros losers

Gleyber going to Miami? I hope they don't need to give him up.
