Default Target Panini Contenders Blasters

I couldnt believe it when i ran across this earlier at my local target. I went into the card section and saw 4 blasters of contenders, I actually got alittle excited to finally find them at one of my local stores. I picked up one box and it felt light so i check it out further and someone actually cut the plastic in a perfect square off the bottom of the box and stole the packs right out of the box. Come to find out whoever did this did had the balls to do the same to all 4 boxes. I honestly couldnt believe it since the cards are right by the registers. Needless to say i was pretty pissed the rest of the night haha.

That sucks. Did you notify management? If the person got away with it once they are bound to do it again.

Happened to me with 2010 contenders blasters. Bottom was cut out and glued back, so like most when you open from the top or cut the sides you can't even notice. All the packs were open and missing the auto. Last time I've bought retail

Perfect box cutter slits...maybe a rogue employee? One never knows and with retail you need to look like a pack searcher to be sure what you plan on buying is intact. It's a lose/lose situation when you report missing or damaged cards as it could always be assumed it was you who did it. On a brighter side, 99.9% of the employees could care less since they allow pack searchers to destroy the card aisle daily. Blasters are the only safe choice but be certain all shrink wrap is intact and bears the makers mark (Topps, Panini, etc) throughout. Do this and you should be good. Some very good hits coming out of Magic blasters and Prizm retail packs. I am glad to see that some nice hits in retail as it allows for affordability ($20 blaster vs $200 hobby) and the family shopping trips are actually something us collectors look forward too, and I have 3 kids ages 6,2 and 8 months. My son bee lines straight to aisle and knows to look for blasters of Chrome or Magic...my partner in busting the shopping budget

I went looking for boxes as well...only had 1. I did notice a pile of prizm basketball. I got excited and grabbed them all. Before I walked away I took a closer look and noticed that every single pack has been opened at the bottom...wtf?
