Official 2018 Philadelphia Phillies Rolling Thread

So, let's see... Maikel's been kicked out of the winter league, we didn't add anyone to our not-so-good starting rotation, and the only bat we added plays 1st base...where Rhys Hoskins was slated to play, and Tommy Joseph would get every 6th-7th game.

So, we're off to a good start. At least we didn't trade Kingery, Cozens, Sixto, Jojo, or Jhailyn. And I bought season tickets again for spring training. So, if anyone wants to come down to Clearwater, let me know.

Was lucky enough to go the NFC Championship game -- what an experience. Pre-game tailgate was rocking and the stadium during the game was going nuts.

I have to say, I didn't see anything worse than booing and mocking the Vikings fans chant in the parking lot before the game, but did see the videos afterwards of knuckleheads throwing full beers at passing Viking fans -- can't stand these idiots being representative of Eagles fans.

Curious to see what Phils do the rest of free agency period -- I'm guessing nothing but who knows - maybe they can get a decent pitcher for cheap.

Can't wait for Spring Training!

Congrats to Jim Thome on the HoF -- so well deserved!!

This is very disappointing. I was hoping there was a different reason. Hopefully his untimely death can be used as an example which will help educate others in the future. RIP Doc!

Roy may not get into the HoF on first ballot, but guarantee he is the Phillies Wall of Fame inductee this year.

Was thinking to go to the game, but may just do the next day where they will be (I can't believe I am saying this) will be having a 10 year celebration of the 08 Championship.

Is it just me, or does it not feel like its been that long ago?

Really hoping for the Birds on Sunday -- nobody thinks the Eagles will win, so doing so would be sooo sweet -- and doing so against the Pats is the ultimate.

Was at the parade -- crazy fun. Glad I got up there - just bummed I didn't bring my oldest son.

Looking forward to a very upbeat ST with the young Phils coming on strong and everyone basking in the glow of the Birds Championship.

Can't believe how much money I've already spent getting the family SB Champ gear. And I doubt I'm done.

At least the Phillies didn’t waste money on Darvish. He gets a 6 year deal when he deserves a 2 or 3 year deal. This is the reason there are so many unsigned players. Long term contracts are done unless you are 25 and a superstar.
