funny that you should mention them...I have not liked the store at all...poor selection on unopened wax, store open at weird hrs or not at the times it is posted...never gotten a big hit there (so maybe a little biased)...but just have not liked the store, which is a shame, because the location was great when it was graf cards...
anyway, I drive by it all the time on my way home from work and I will admit, I will stop every once in a blue moon for a card fix, but when I drove by today, there was a small sign in the window and all the window displays and signs were down...I didn't stop to check what the little sign said, but from just driving by, its looks like its closing down...so call before you go just in case... sad to say, after graf cards closed down I found an awesome new shop...davaes dugout, but it was only open a couple more years and closed down january 2011...I have yet to find a good card shop since, some have recommended chicagoland sports (in buffalo grove), but I have yet to head out that way...I guess in a way, its a good thing, I have saved a ton of money in the last year and a half, not being able to give in to impulse buys

Okay. Thanks for the help. Maybe I'll check out Chicagoland sports as well. By the way, have you been to RBI sports cards and comics? It's a pretty good shop so if you haven't been there check it out, I didn't like it too much though

Elite Sportscards and Tim's are really close to each other in Lincoln Square but that's about it in Chicago. I've heard of good shops in the suburbs but I never get out that way.

RBI is closed, check out The Baseball Card King on 95th near the Metra station in Oak Lawn. They have one of the biggest selection of wax you'll see in the area, prices are ok for Chicagoland too.
