I really enjoyed going through your entire thread this morning. There was a couple pages I hadn’t seen before, so I got caught up there. I’m glad to see you have loaded all your scans back into your thread (bet that took some work). You just have to many great cards to list well done!

Thanks guys. Here are my newest pickups. Love the Robinson...so clean. Same with Killer. I'm thinking about moving the Schmidt...didn't notice the fisheye on the left when I bought it.

Thanks. I agree about the '67 set. I used to think it was plain, but have come to appreciate the clean simple design and focus on the player.

Yes. Very similar qualities IMO. I like the 57 set for the same reasons.

I had to go back and scroll the last couple of pages that I missed while I was taking a bit of a break.

Good stuff as always.

My favorite of the last few pages?????
Probably the 1953 Topps Yogi Berra.
Many great additions here, but man that Berra just pops. I always did like the coloring on those '53s.
I'd like to get a '53 Mantle before the price on those goes bananas. Oh wait, NVM.
Reminds me, I need to post a recent Mantle I picked up. I will try and put it up tonight or tomorrow.

I agree that Yount is stunning, and that Brett is also super clean w/o all the PD. Super quality cards you added, the Aaron looks like a 10!

Thanks guys. I'm really happy with my recent pickups. Been looking for a great Yount for a long time and couldn't pass up either the Brett or the Aaron.

It's 31 years old, but usually isn't considered vintage. I'm going to share here anyway. I think it has a good chance to crossover to PSA too, which would be my preference.

Man, that is one sweet MJ! I was fortunate enough to get my own last Fall in a PSA 6. Iconically one of the greatest cards to grace the history of sports cards! Congrats!!!!!

t/b is within 9 standards and I’d do it onsite if I did it.

Brett is OC on back...no chance for bump.

Daddymc - I finally had time today to review your entire thread. Thanks for sharing your vintage pickups. They all look great. I really liked the Mays and Aaron cards, especially the 54 Aaron. Very nice!

I just got back to collecting mid-2017 and have learned from BO and Net54 to buy the card, not the grade/slab.

Thanks again!

Thanks for the kind words wharfrat.

Here is my newest unopened pickup. I still remember pulling a Bird/Magic RC out of one of these packs several years ago:
