Here is my latest pickup. A lower technical grade than I usually purchase, but the eye appeal of this example far exceeds the technical grade in my opinion with vivid colors, nice centering and best of all, no creases.

It's been about a month since I've picked up any new vintage until now. While not the best centered example, I thought the card displayed nice enough eye appeal for me to add it to my collection until I find an upgrade some day. Very happy to add the RC of this local favorite to my collection:

Not my typical vintage pickup, but these don't come up very often, especially from a sealed case and the price was very fair:

That's a really nice Brooksie RC. Really the centering isn't bad at all on this particular issue.

I've added some more unopened to my collection in the past month.

First a pair of 1974 Topps Football Racks:

I also collect vintage Star Wars and picked this up:

to go along with this one that I already had:

I am not a Vintage collector and have never seen the 72 O-Pee-Chee, but I think I am in love. Great cards here.

In August, SCP Auctions auctioned off several items from Robin Yount's personal collection. Among those items were a lot of two baseballs signed by 3000 Hit Club members. I bought one ball from the auction winner shortly after the auction and told him if he ever decided to sell the second one to let me know. He did reach out to me last week, and we were able to close the deal on the second ball which has since been authenticated by PSA/DNA as well. This is my 3rd 3000 Hit Club ball with at least 13 signatures and it arrived last night:

So if you've followed this thread, you know I have a source that I buy raw 70's cards from. I still have a partial '76 set that I need to scan some pages and share. But with that being said, I just had another deal close with this person last week and the cards arrived the other night. The first was a near complete 1975 Topps set. Couldn't resist having another one. It was missing Brock HL, B. Robinson, Yount, Brett, and Ryan, but it's 90% NM - NM/MT. 10% will be upgraded at some point, but the majority of the cards are 1) sharp 2) bright and 3) well centered. The other was a '79 set that I'll post later.

Thanks!

I picked up a 90% complete '76 set a few months ago. While missing the keys, I already have Brett, Eck, and a couple others in PSA 8. The cards that were included in this partial set all have 4 sharp corners and bright colors. Centering is usually tough for this year, but overall this lot is very good.

I have always liked the 1976 set. While there aren't any monster cards in it, the Eck rookie is nice, and the 2nd year cards of the 1975 RC's is top notch (Brett, Yount, Rice, Carter, Lynn, etc). It might be my favorite 70's set after the 1971's. Your card look great!
