Arnold Palmer and Gary Player Pick Up (Need Opinion)
Picked these up at an Antique Show near me.Let me know your thoughts on them (if they are real and what the value is). The story is that the shop bought them from an 85 year old man who got them himself at Blue Heron Hills Golf Club near Rochester, NY. They are Landsman prints which were signed. Story checks out as they have played there before. Sorry for the bad pictures. Best my phone could do.
Arnold Palmer Gary Player

The Palmer looks good to me from the scan. It's hard to tell if it is pre-printed or not though with that scan.
The Player looks strange. Usually he has a longer tail on each "Y" and his "G" is usually different. Hard to tell though, as some times in-person autos can just look a little sloppy if the athlete is in a hurry. |

Just moved back to Va from Hilton Head Island, we had several Retail stores with Palmer sigs on pieces such as yours for around $400, please keep in mind those were all authenticated by either psa or jsa and also Before his recent passing both of which will effect the price. Also remember that's a Retail price, not EBay!
I've seen a few player sigs as well but those are all over the place from as low as $80 to as high as $200, that said I do agree there is something off on the "G" so authentication on that is a must for you to get anything note worthy. Hope this helps and good luck |
