Exclamation Does a major misprint increase a cards value?

I have a 2009 Leaf Certified Materials Matthew Stafford/Mark Sanchez dual patch #ed to /25. The dual patch also has a MAJOR misprint on it. The misprint is that they put Mark Sanchez's patch under Stafford and Stafford's patch under Sanchez. I can tell this because the patch under Stafford is white and green and the patch under Sanchez is white with a little grey. So my question is is this like some sort of 1/1 and does it have increased value. Thank you.

It wouldnt affect the value at all. Misprints dont add any value nowadays and more often than nott it decreases the value. I dont think there would be any positive or negative affect of value to this card in particular. Also its not a misprint, its just a lack of QC. A misprint is an error with the actually printing of the card and this cards printing is just fine.

This really isn't a "major" error. Stick around the card industry a little longer, buy some Panini stuff and you will see this is pretty standard.

As far as seeing an increase in value, I would say little to none.

Where? Lol, this isn't a misprint as much as a mix-up.

This is a misprint of the most valuable basketball player around

MICHAEL JORDAN 01-2 UPPER DECK #178 MISPRINT ERROR CARD | eBay

hell they put Magic Johnson's auto on this card of Jordan Swagerty, that is a HUGE error IMO and it only sells for $35

Jordan Swagerty Elite EE Magic Johnson Auto Error Card | eBay

This isn't coin collecting, error/misprint stuff doesn't magically increase value 100 fold. If this was the case we would start seeing fake error/misprint cards

Don't you think if mixed up patch cards were valuable these patch fakers would have started doing it a long time ago?

It was a 2007 Topps chrome card. It had Vick on the fron and Burress on the back. It sold for around $700.

Your'e talking about the 80's and earlier cards. Cards then were mass produced and when an error arose, they corrected it mid-process. So a limited amount of one or the other is in circulation. Errors now hold no value, and even the old errors hold very little value. One of the most notable error cards is the Billy Ripken "F*ck Face" card. They used to sell for quite a bit back in the day, but now you could get the uncorrected version for around $10 and the corrected version for around $1. Besides the older errors, you aren't looking any any value increase.

I'm pretty sure they pulled all Michael Vick cards from the product because of the dog fighting incident. Still, a limited amount of cards slipped by, and set collectors (especially on Topps and Topps Chrome) scooped them up to complete their sets. That is the only reason why the Vick card sells for over $100. Your Stafford/Sanchez holds no draw like that.

I think you are somewhat misinformed

YouTube - 2007 TOPPS CHROME FOOTBALL MICHAEL VICK SELLS BIG!

These 2007 Topps chrome Vick cards sold for a premium because they were pulled from the market surrounding his dog fighting incident.

now they sell for $30

Yours is nowhere near the value of that one, and that probably is because it has 2 convicted felons on the card

No I know that. I was just trying to say that misprints can be valueable.
