what a load of crap!

Just saw the images from Topps Facebook feed and it looks like rehased character cards w/ different backgrounds and likely the same story cards as from S1 and S2 Force Awakens.

Talk about a money grab, they couldn't even put a Jedi/Sith or Perspectives type set together???

This still will probably do well as interest in TFA characters is still red hot. Hopefully Topps is not too limited in the number of stock photos they are allowed to use for the new movie characters though. It is not fun to chase the same image over and over from set to set, but maybe Topps has no choice but to reuse a limited number of images that are available to them.

I really can't get my head around the appeal of two characters on a dual auto who hardly even share any screen time.

I'd rather have the two single autos, to be honest.

Also the absence of a Daisy Ridley auto in the pre-sell material doesn't bode well for the people who paid over $1,000 for the recent "Mystery Redemption." I don't want anyone to get hurt, but my gut says that is gonna eclipse the "rat bone" in Topps douchebaggery.

I was hoping the next set would be TFA 3D Widevision. But I guess this is cheaper for Topps to poop out.

Topps is really riding the Star Wars wave as long as they can. I expect to see Star Wars Triple Threads soon.

I still don't get the whole rat bone thing. You knew you were getting a bone of some type, not like you were promised a patch auto of Mike Trout or something. They've done insect ones and other weird ones before, that's part of the appeal, the oddities.

Meanwhile, people are riding out hopes and prayers on something that may or may not have mistakenly been said about her being a signer.

That said, I hope she wouldn't be too stuck up to sign some autos, then again, where's our Poe autos? Hopefully in S2.

This does not bode well. These releases usually promise big things on the initial solicitation and then disappoint us on release but this one looks bad from the start. Hopefully good news is still to come!

I think chrome parallels is the purpose of this set. I do hope they will have some new inserts and relics tho.

There is no way I will preorder anything significant. I do not mind the one hit per box tho.

But having 10 plus Rey superfractors... will that kinda kill them? I know #3 from Series 1 will be THE Superfractor to get... using Series 1 as a guide... she has 10 other cards in the set.

ok so this is basically like any other chrome product ? its going to be same cards as series one except there gonna be chrome right ? same images same everything ? the sell sheet does say that the images and design are not final ?

they should have given this release a new design . the series one cards are practicaly full bleed and don't have much of a design. what the hell are the parallels gonna look like ? so the text will be different colors ? big deal ....

Like others have already said, the lack of Rey in the sell sheet has to have people nervous. It's been over a month and no word from Topps on the mystery redemption. If I hit one of those I'd sell it now and never look back.
