Hi from Slovenia

Hello from small European country Slovenia. My name is Jože and I am new to the hobby, sort of. Like every kid in the early-mid 90's, I also collected cards (NBA), then I briefly came back to the hobby in 2010. But I was just a broke college student back then and unfortunatelly I wasn't in a position to bild up some kind of serius collection (hobby can be expensive, even more so if you are in Europe).

Now I am slowly coming back to the hobby and the timing is perfect as my fellow countryman (guy in my profile picture – Luka Dončič) is projected to be one of the first players taken in this years NBA draft.

Hopefully we can make some deals for his cards in the future.

Welcome Joze, my mom's side of the family is from Slovenia. I still have cousins, aunts and uncles out there. I'll have to find out what city they're in!

From current players there is only Goran Dragic from Miami Heat. But for such a small country (only about 2 mio people) we had quite a lot of OK players in the past - Raso Nesterovic, Beno Udrih, Sasha "the machine"

) Vujacic all have championship rings. There were also others like Bostjan Nachbar and Primoz Brezec.

Overall our biggest sports star in US is Anze Kopitar of LA Kings in the NHL.
