Most of the time he is right, hopefully not the case this time.

Another doc speculates it may be the LCL though, similar injury to what Carson Wentz had.
So glad it appears to not be an extensive injury. Braves smart to DL him and make sure the knee receives the proper treatment for the long haul. Just love to watch him play. He goes about things in a manner that reminds me of Griffey Jr. Timing gives my cards more time to come back from the graders lol...and picked up a few more of his cards today at decent prices.

Didn't effect the sale much at all. Might be able to pick up a deal over next couple weeks. Braves just need to keep putting W's on the board while he's gone.

This is NOT good news.

Is also this guy who I wouldn't trust to give me a physical: https://deadspin.com/the-chargers-do...they-466685771

"The California Medical Board believes that David Chao should lose his medical license. Nearly two dozen former patients who have sued him since 1998—alleging in all the medical superfecta of malpractice, personal injury, negligence, and fraud—would agree. Dissenting: the NFL and the San Diego Chargers, for whom Chao has served as team physician for the past 15 years."

and I guess he was wrong this time...

So good news and no one is talking about it, especially the doom and gloom squad.

"To be honest, I feel better than I did yesterday,'' Acuna said Monday through an interpreter. "I just give thanks to God it's not worse than it was.''

Atlanta placed Acuna on the 10-day disabled list with a mild ACL sprain in his left knee and bruises to his knee and lower back.

From Braves beat writer Mark Bowman today (are we enjoying the slight breather we've been getting with both Acuna and Vlad Jr being down? Catch your breath now before they return together and the frenzy starts up again!):

When Acuna's diagnosis (mild left ACL sprain) was made, there was initially reason to wonder if he might be activated for this weekend's series against the Dodgers. His diagnosis was confirmed when he visited Dr. James Andrews the next day. But the noted surgeon suggested the 20-year-old outfielder be cautious, even though he might not be feeling any pain. The Braves have indeed remained cautious with Acuna, who was slated to begin participating in some baseball activities this week. It now seems optimistic to think he could be activated for next week's two-game series against the Mets. But there's a chance he could be playing in rehab game early next week, with an eye on returning at some point during the Braves' home series against the Padres (June 14-17).

Being cautious is a good thing.

Did anyone use the 20% off eBay coupon on this guy?

No. But I did pick up his Bowman Breakthrough for under $100. Topps did a good job with these HR challenge cards. Hopefully they do just as well for these.

Acuna has been running without discomfort for the last couple of days and told reporters on Tuesday afternoon that he feels ready for live action. The 20-year-old outfielder could return to the Braves' active roster by early next week if everything goes smoothly from here. He had a .779 OPS with five home runs and two stolen bases through his first 29 major league games when he landed on the disabled list May 28 with a mild ACL sprain in his left knee.

Been buying him for awhile now. Snuck a few in once the prices started to drop a bit. Hoping he comes back on fire.

I know his prices have come down since the injury, but I think I got a good deal on another one of these:

Yeah, why do they think that's a good idea?? Somehow I got around it one time, but it's intensely frustrating.

Glad to know it's not just me and that I hadn't accidentally changed a setting somewhere!
