That the Browns hired Scot McCloughan to help prepare and run their draft? What part of them hiring him makes you think that he isnt an employee?

He just tweeted "Merry Draftmas Eve, were gonna do some damage. #dawgpound

I guess I don't see how you don't see that he is employed by your team you know so much about.

Question.......

With the Broncos having the 5th overall worth 1700 points......Could the Browns give the 33rd and 35th Pick along with next years first rounder (Estimating it to be worth 1200) for a total of 2330 for the Broncos 5th overall? Hypothetically, if they could pull this off, they could get 3 of Darnold, Allen, Barkley, Chubb, Mayfield, Fitzpatrick, Rosen......(Preferably Barkley, Chubb and Allen) Would the Broncos even consider that, if they honestly believe Keenan can give them a few years?

I brought that up on page 11. Got laughed at lol, but I still see some merit to it.

Sorry, with 20+ pages, I must have missed a post. But, food for thought. Denver may rather have 2 first rounders next year instead and getting 2 seconds this year makes sense.....Browns can afford that deal now, but what a mess when those rookie contracts expire.

For sure on both counts. Denver has a decent team, so they can afford to do that. Cleveland has to show something, and that would be a helluva off season.

Chubb
Darnold
Mayfield
Rosen/Allen
Barkley

Taylor, Rosen/Allen
Barkley, Hyde, Johnson
Landry, Gordon, Coleman
Njoku

That's a nice offensive overhaul. Add Chubb next to Garrett and you've got something brewing.

I do think Denver would need a third next year to do it.

Denver gets:

2nd round picks 33, 35, and 64 this year
1st and 3rd next year.

Cleveland still has a 4th to make another solid addition. The good thing is they have some money to spend realistically.

Do you have Da’Ron Payne ahead of Vita Vea?
No way he goes ahead of him in any scenario

Guice is gonna fall hard with NFL saying they can’t find proof of him being asked inappropriate questions

Rumblings now that Mayfield may be going first. Smoke screen or do the Browns really like this guy?

Only prediction I will make is that top 3 picks will be QBs.

Less than 10 hours from now the Browns will have their new QB. Still thinking Darnold but Dorsey is doing a great job with the smoke screens. Can't wait!

Schefter said there is rumblings that a team strategically put those tweets out there to hope he falls to them.

Possible.

still sticking with Chubb being the browns #1 pick.

then barkley 2, rosen 3, and darnold 4

browns - nick chubb
giants - barkley
jets - rosen
browns - darnold
broncos - probably the hardest to predict since they could go in any direction, i'll say Elway picks josh allen
colts - nelson

Browns HAVE to take a QB at one, their fan base would literally have a melt down after all the QBs they have passed up over the year.

Take whatever QB you like best and then take the best available at 4, or if Rosen/Darnold somehow drop to 4, trade the pick and move back

I'm sure most teams knew about it by now anyways. If they don't have a team of people that researches every players social media accounts by now, I would be surprised. Especially the top guys.

The Browns should take Mayfield #1 and Barkley (if still there/should be) at #4. Dallas better take a WR at 19.
