Default ** The Official Dodgers/Braves NLDS Thread **

Go Dodgers, I think they win in 4, but this is probably the best series of the Divisional round.

This one is going to be a flip.

Dodgers have a much better staff and considering the Braves whiff so much it's going to be tough. On the other side of the coin the Dodgers are forced to start Schumaker with Kemp/Ethier being out. Going to be a real interesting series.

Braves have done well against them this year, and I love the trio of Medlen, Teheran, and Minor. Maybe it's because they're all on my dynasty fantasy team, but I like them and am picking Braves in 5

Can't fault your pick, but I've got Dodgers in 5. Braves have done well against them this year, but I read somewhere that they haven't seen Kershaw in a few years (I haven't confirmed this). I think a lot is going to hinge on whether or not the Dodgers offense shows up.

I think Braves in 5 as well. Tonight's game is huge though. If they can beat Kershaw to start they definitely get the series.

You would be a Dodgers "fan" from Alabama. Let me guess. ROLL TIDE too?!

In all seriousness, the Braves will have their hands full. Gotta start swinging the bats better than they have in the last week or two.

I've been a fan of the Dodgers all of my life and no I don't like Alabama at all nor Auburn and BTW I get the MLB Ticket every season to watch the Dodgers, so don't question my loyalty buddy. I'm not a bandwagon fan by any stretch of the imagination.

Braves in 4

Only because I am a braves fan. Honestly though the braves have to beat Kershaw tonight or Grienke tomorrow to make this happen.

I gotta think this is the Braves only chance. I think Dodgers lineup is scarier and Kershaw is obviously the best pitcher on the planet, but Greinke and Ryu are beatable, especially with Minor and Teheran on the mound, and Kershaw probably won't go again until G5.

You guys have to understand ... this is all about which Braves offense shows up. If we are hot, we'll stay hot and probably will make it to the WS. If we are cold, we'll be out in 3. There is no in between.

Besides Puig I disagree. And even then when Gattis was hot he was more exciting than Puig.

I could say the same about the Dodgers. Their offense has been abysmal the last couple of weeks.

Kershaw wouldn't get the loss. He'd be pulled in the 21st inning.

Besides Freeman, Kimbrel, Johnson and Simmons...it's a bunch of underachievers who somehow have a great record.

You forgot Minor, Medlen, Teheran, Heyward, Uption (J), and McCann. Oh, and you forgot the best bullpen in the NL. I'm a huge Dodgers fan and I see them winning the series, but the Braves aren't a club to count out.
