Rec’d 12.1. Quick shipping but the slabs were poorly packaged and bouncing around the box. 1 of the Slabs has a slight chip. Wish something could have filled the space to prevent this.

My rep told me there may be delays for “discounted 10 day orders” which we obviously are. I posted about this in BGS 13 but I’m not sure I did here. Hopefully tmrw.

No worries, it’s not a significant chunk and I’d like to have it available at a show this weekend. I thought I remember in the past there was newspaper or something that filled spaces.

Depends if I have it or if I’m out of it. Unfortunately there are a lot of packages and when I run out I don’t have something else. I know in the big sub I shippped a large quantity of the small boxes the same way and had no issues. I’ll make sure to have more in stock at home so it doesn’t happen again.

They are pushing back “discounted 10 day subs” in order to get done with non guaranteed. Supposedly a few days behind right now but I’d like to think it’s under a week behind. This is the banker in me however it is a question I'd be going over with my rep. With the amount of business your breaks and breakers are spending with this company shouldnt a 10-day be honored? If not, I would be requesting a discount for this order and not accepting excuses. Has that conversation taken place?

On the sheet it says "If you receive a discount then the 10 day service is not guaranteed". When he called me and told me there was a chance at a delay I did post it on the BGS 13 thread but not here because I didn't think there was a chance of it effecting us. Yes, I disagree that big customers that get discounts should be pushed to the side, it's sorta dumb. I have told him that numerous times.

The fact is they are falling so damn far behind on the non guaranteed orders that they literally need to get something done for those folks. Ideally this is a short term issue but I will stay on top of it and make sure everyone knows exactly what is going on at all times.
