3 Ohio St. Buckeyes arrested this weekend.

Rough weekend in Columbus. Starting RB Carlos Hyde dismissed from the team after allegedly punching a woman in the face at a bar. Starting CB Bradley Roby arrested after an altercation with a bouncer. 5 star S Vonn Bell arrested for underage drinking. With roughly one month until the season starts, wouldn't these guys know better? Sounds like Urbz needs to update his decision wall.

Yes, I am a Michigan fan. Yes, I realize things like this happen to a certain extent at many schools. It's just alarming how frequently they happen around Urban Meyer. There's a reason Muschamp got rid of roughly 1/3 of the Gators when he took over.

HAH! The Suckeyes and Urban Meyer's reputation for letting the inmates run the asylum will be a disaster. Take it as a Vols fan who was absolutely screwed by Vonn Bell at the last minute with his decision to go to Ohio that I hope he continues to get arrested. Yes, I'm wishing ill will on a kid. Hyde was already kicked off the team. What else was Meyer supposed to do?

Roby will be suspended - and who knows what else - as his situation was out of state (in Indiana) and a little different as he got into a shoving match with a bouncer. He didn't hit a woman. Not saying it's not bad - he's an idiot - but it's a different situation.

Bell - Underage drinking? Really? That's cause for extra laps.

I don't think underage drinking is an issue, just crazy that all 3 happened on the same weekend. I bet Hyde will be reinstated about 2 weeks before the Michigan game.

We'll know more as the story unfolds (the woman did hit Hyde first) - but I'd bet my house he never plays for the Buckeyes again.

OSU is too deep at RB to put up with that kind of stuff. Hyde knew this was his one chance to be the starter and run with it - he's got 5 star recruits on his tail - and this is what he does? He deserves to never see the field again.

Definitely sucks for Hyde. This is sort of what happened last year with Storm Kline and his charges were dismissed and he was reinstated. Time to start praying that this actually happens with Hyde. If not, time for Dunn or Smith to take over and make a name for themselves.

Bradley Roby definitely hurts the most, if anything comes from that. One of the top at his position and would be a leader on that defense that is replacing 7 starters.

I've seen Michigan fans spouting of all morning about Meyer since most of them don't realize that Hyde/Roby weren't Urban Meyer's guys, just players he inherited.

That said, I don't condone what Hyde did, but if he doesn't get reinstated, oh well. Ohio State has more than enough running back depth. Roby will miss Buffalo and San Diego State, I would guess...not a big deal. Underage drinking in college is laughable.

Tim Gardner now arrested too? 4 star incoming freshman. Not necessarily putting this one on Urb's shoulders but its goofy. He was projected to redshirt.

He's been sent home. He will not be part of the 2013 team. Not sure if that's what you meant.

Not a good day for Buckeye fans - and Urban will take some blame (deserved or not considering Hyde/Roby aren't his guys) - but I must admit I think he's done a hell of a job of dealing with these guys. He was swift with kicking Hyde off the team and now sending Gardner home.

Clearly waiting out the Roby situation since it's out of state.

Meyer dismissed him from the team. The only reason it's technically under "suspension" is because Hyde has to go through the University Student Code of Conduct and Criminal Investigations.

For all intents and purposes he's been kicked off the team.

I would imagine the only way he could get back would be if all charges are dropped - not some sort of plea - but charges dropped completely like with Storm Klein last year where it was essentially a false accusation. This one has too many witnesses - even if she did hit him first (which is what is apparently what happened)

Not seeing that happening that this gets dropped completely.

Hyde is done. He was dismissed by Meyer - he just is under a technical indefinite suspension until the code of conduct investigation is over through the University. Hyde isn't coming back to this team.

It's all semantics until the code of conduct investigation and criminal investigation are over - he is never going to play another down at Ohio State. This isn't the same as Storm Klein.
