I have noticed that my LCS gets Leaf products the Friday before Blowout gets them. I wonder/hope if it'll be the case for this release too?

Off the top of my head I think also: Doink the Clown, George Steele, Linda McMahon (not wrestler), Dink and most of the midget/mini wrestlers, XPac

Would love to see an Inoki auto card.

doink is in upcoming wwe heritage, steele is in this product and xpac is in an older tna product as well as one of the old comic images wwf sets as a non-pack inserted auto.

I figured out there's a Syxx-Pac TNA auto, but can't figure out the Comics Images card. How was it released, if not in a pack????

5 wrestlers in those sets kept the auto cards and handed them out at signings. they say the autos are certified on back like the normal pack inserted ones. the wrestlers are x-pac, mark henry, animal, undertaker, and terri runnels. you can find pictures of them on the wtc checklist section for those sets. i personally have only seen the runnels and animal on ebay. the runnels was only bringing about 30 a card but the only animal i saw for sale brought around 100. i can only imagine what that undertaker would bring.

OK. Found it under 1998 Superstarz. Thanks for the info. I didn't know about those.

WTC site says only the pack cards are recognized by Comic Images.

i talked to xpac a few years ago and he said he still has them, used to give them out to fans, but he had what was left still

its just like the few wcw topps autos that werent inserted into packs: flair, bulldog, booker t, mysterio, hak, duncum, and whipwreck. they arent recognized by topps as being authentic but they are recognized by collectors as being authentic.
i wonder if we could get ahold of xpac and have him send us some.

Hoping to have it finalized Wednesday,... CHYNA is out (as we cannot forsee filling a redemption in any reasonable period of time)... One more name could fall out, as we had to send a legal letter to request them to honor contract (as they were paid upfront!)..

Two other fighters are remaning which will definately be included, we are just trying to avoid redemptions: Rowdy Roddy Piper and Jimmy Hart.

Why in the name of all that is holy would you ever pay these guys up front! Half up front half when they show. Most wpuld do it zero up front and all when they actually sign. That's dealing with wreasters 101!

The way it sounds. It should ship Friday to distributers. Who then on Monday should have it in hand to send to customers to have by 31st. I guess will see soon.

Also cards will be packed out in top loaders. I like that Leaf does this.

I wonder who they paid up front and took the money and ran. Not to be heard from again. Gotta suck for Leaf on that one.

Yeah good luck with that. The guy notoriously no-shows at cons he's booked at. He could care less. I mean you've got your expenses covered plus fans wanting to throw money at you... He's like Lenny Dykstra without the jail sentence.

I thought xpac was good with the fans. Wonder if he is still tight with Triple H and HBK. Not sure if it is true, but I heard at one time Xpac and Chyna were going to get married. Talk about a made for tv show.
