I'm pumped about the addition of Nathan. Don't really need Torii or Koskie on much anymore. Still need to get an 8x10 and OMLB of Joe Nathan for the collection. I'm definitely in the planning mode now. Might be offering 50/50's and/or consignments for some of the guys that I don't need

Haha, I bet his line is super busy. I want to go through it, but depending on the schedule I might skip it this year

I'm sure it will be insane. Probs would have to get to the line 1.5-2 hours early to get a good chance at him. He's basically my childhood hero though, so a few hours is nothing. Now to figure out if I can make it happen and if I can find something good for him to sign.....

If anyone can help a Twins fan in WA with some autos from Twinsfest I'd appreciate it. I'm not sure how it works (if there is a charge for autos or just a charge for the admission) but I can cover some/all of the cost. I'd be looking for mostly cards to be signed (I would provide) and maybe a ball or two (I'd provide).

Special Twins town hall is airing on FSN at 7 tonight. Kinda interested to watch this and see what is said, I don't remember seeing one of these before

Levine is a funny dude. Already made 2 solid jokes. When talking about how they were considering trading Dozier last offseason and/or potentially not bringing back Ervin- "I have absolutely no recollection whatsoever of trading either player". Other joke came when it was brought up that some players took issue to Kintzler and Garcia being traded at the deadline- "If I had known they would respond that well, I would have made those trades months earlier"

News of the day, Twins are strongly interested in Napoli. you might gag at first, but I think this could be a really good sign. He's not a big impact player on the field, but I was reading a little column the other day (Star Trib, maybe), talking about how Napoli could be this year's Gimenez. Good guy veteran with a lot of experience, clubhouse leader. Mentioned that with Garver getting pretty close to being full time-MLBer, there might not be space for Gimenez on our roster this year. Additionally, in the town hall on Thursday, Falvey and Levine mentioned how they're always looking for high character guys and guys that are strong leaders. I think they'd love to have Gimenez back for that role, but if we'll already have Castro and Garver on the roster, there's not really space for a third catcher. But, someone like Napoli could fill the character veteran leader role and still get some playing time at first and DH

I really think Gimenez was more than a small reason we succeeded last year. I trust the FO here and think that the right high character leader can really do a lot more than you would think. Napoli wouldn't be an everyday guy. Probably more like Gimenez on the field last year, just gets some time here and there. But in the clubhouse every day to mentor our younger guys and provide great leadership. I'm all for this signing

Not good news for the Twins today. There is an allegation of Miguel Sano sexually harassing (maybe even assaulting) a former Twins Daily photographer who also assisted with a Fan HQ signing that Miguel was signing at.

I have to imagine with all of the backlash that MLB will take this very seriously (even though I'm sure this BS is rampant in baseball and other sports).
