Junk wax, like pre-1992 Hoops, fleer, etc. Stuff that doesnt have "hits"

I've got some of these style boxes, and it got me to thinking. In order to save storage space, maybe just hang onto the HOFers, but then i was thinking, besides MJ, WHO to hang onto? Bird? Magic maybe?

I hate to say it but just the MJ's and stuff that I like.

Take a box of 91-92 Upper Deck. I would keep the Award Winner hologram, the art cards that were checklists and all of the MJ's. I held onto the rookies too but they were OC and I decided to just toss them.

MJ's and just the rc's of the HOF'ers if they look in highly gradable condition.

MJs, decent RCs, a random good-looking insert or two. Haven't busted a box like that in a LONG time I need to find one

All. I really try not to throw away stuff anymore. Put together sets. Save the others for set builders.

Keep all of them in sets stored in ring binders.

I did just that when I opened a box of 1991 Hoops a couple of years ago.

Not to hijack, but i have this same problem. Opened a bunch of 90-93 fleer, 92-93 UD, 89 Hoops. MJ's either graded kept or sold, i have a monster box of HOF'ers from the 90's so do i just sleeve them all and add to the piles lol, they're all the same...! woohoo i have 20-25 1990 fleer larry birds and scottie pips! And the commons..do you actually dump them in the trash? Our City pickup has weight limits on the bags. Can they go in recycling? Guessing no because of the type of cardboard?

I donate my base/commons periodically to the YMCA for their after-school kids' program. I think other places will take them as well.
