Default Russell Westbrook

As you can tell by my handle, I'm a Laker fan. However, I chose the OKC Thunder to win it all this year. Looks like my prediction may be coming true!

If I had Russell Westbrook cards, I'd get rid of all of them. He has SO much talent, but the IQ of a pine-riding public high school basketball player. I said it before, and I'll say it again, OKC should have moved Westbrook for Rondo when they had the chance (forget it now). Had they done this, I just wouldn't be able to see the Thunder losing for a couple of years.

Westbrook makes so many boneheaded plays. Thank goodness they got guys like Sefolosha and (most of the time) Derek Fisher who have some kind of basketball IQ to keep Westbrook honest.

Just my two cents!

He did make some knucklehead moves in the 4th, but he is usually the guy that keeps them in games.

23 pts and 12 Assists 4 Steals and 4 Rebounds, I would love him on my team any day.

He does much more than he gets credit for, and when OKC loses people instantly blame him. Poor guy

Chris Broussard asked i think 20 something GM's on who'd they trade or keep if they was OKC, Harden or Westbrook, majority of them said they'd rather keep harden and trade westbrook because not only they could get the most from him in a trade, but they don't think westbrook has IT.

Last night, Westbrook's penetration is what really opened up the floor for the Thunder. Usually when he penetrates and the defense clogs the paint, he takes some boneheaded shot. The past few games, he's learned that when the defense clogs the paint, he has Durant, Harden, Ibaka, etc. to hit some jump shots, and that's where those 12 assists came from. If he learns to make decisions like that, and continues to be his aggressive self, I don't see how anyone helps this team more than him.

That's 75% of what they said based on what I saw.

Westbrook also costs more then Harden will.

That was a big part of it.

Westbrook is athletic and talented, but he's a knucklehead. Bottom line. Those GMs who said they would keep Westbrook over Harden need to be fired (I'm sure one of them was Charlotte's GM, and possibly Knick's). I'll take James Harden on my team any day. THAT kid can flat out play!

9-24 from the floor to get those 23 points, along with 6 turnovers and 3 bonehead plays in a row when they're trying to put the Spurs away

They're a much much better team when he realizes he's a PG and not a scorer with having Harden & KD on that team

No doubt Westbrook does stupid things sometimes, but if you've watched the Thunder throughout the season, there's no doubt that he also keeps them in games and wins games for them a lot of the time.
