Official TTM Success Thread!

Hello members of the forums, this is the official thread for Through The Mail (TTM) successes. Well first off, you have to know what ttm's are and how you use this technique.

A TTM is one way of getting a sport card or any other item you can send through the mail signed by your favorite athlete.

Here are the steps of how you send TTM's:

Get a 5-3/4" x 8-3/4" sized envolope, write your address on it and put a stamp on it.
Get your card of the player you want to have sign it and put it in the envolope. (Soft sleeves or toploaders optional. Strongly reccomended though.)
Write the player a letter.
Example:

"Dear Mr. Kershaw,

Hi, my name is Andrew. I think you are a great player and the Dodgers are my favorite team. I was extremely excited when you won the Cy Young award in 2011. I would love it if you could take the time to autograph my card.

Go Dodgers,
Andrew"

Oh and put the letter in the envolope
DO NOT seal that envolope, keep it open.
Get a 6" x 9" sized envolope and write the address of the players home ballpark and his name
Example:
Mr. Clayton Kershaw
C/O Los Angeles Dodgers
1000 Elysian Park Avenue
Los Angeles, CA
90012
Put a stamp on that envolope.
Put the 5-3/4" x 8-3/4" sized envolope into the 6" x 9" sized envolope.
Seal the 6" x 9" sized envolope.
Give it to the mailman

After finishing all this steps, try more players and just play the waiting game

The card might NOT get returned. If you dont get anything back, try different players.

the link you put hardly looks current/up to date...unless im not seeing right the alphabetical order list of players seems to be 3, 4 or more yrs old since the returns...??

ah.. i see on home page returns from few months ago/last yr
