I like the action shot and noticed that these will be 2 sided, would be great to have the action shot on front with the induction photo on the back, best of both worlds!!

Curious, most people prefer the base autos right? If Topps did away with parallels and the auto was numbered to 299 or so, would you still buy at the same price point? Think they would still sell out?

I only collect the color parallels. Like those better than the base auto. However I about bought the tigers but to me those look better in blue, I'll have to wait until secondary market since I've already spent out today.

I just purchase the base auto's not a fan of the colored parallels as I prefer the natural coloring, if the numbering were increased then I would expect a better price, more in the ballpark of $60-$65.

And depending on the player I believe they would still sell out, the Chipper #99 took under an hour!

What is interesting is the amount of buyers for these Auto's just in these forums, out of the 99 available for Jones I'll bet 35%-40% were Blowout members, LOL

For me if the color compliments the team...otherwise I grab a base. I just picked up the base signed cards, though Chipper Red would have been cool, didn't want to pay that much more for a red hue on the card.

I like how they used the retro Tigers logo on these. Wish they would've used the chief wahoo logo for Thome's card given that was the main Cleveland logo when he played on the team, but I get the PC reasons for not doing it. Also surprised to see Vlad and Hoffman not even get a non auto card today. Strange.

Last years cards had the Hall of Fame logo. I kind of liked it.

I do wonder why no base cards for Hoffman and Vlad...I suppose if you don't have the rights you don't have them. Going to suck and kind of kill a lot of cool cards...especially if Madbum or another active player does something great and it's not chronicled in the set because the player hasn't signed on.

I agree. I really liked the HOF logo on the cards. Made them special and I thought it was something I was going to buy each year that would then have some continuity. The team logos takes away that idea unfortunately.
