I hope it is okay for us to have a dedicated Marketplace thread within this new area of the Forums. I’ve just had no luck with Topps Now stuff in the general Baseball Marketplace area. I guess if this isn’t okay, one of the mods will kindly shut it down.

Assuming for now that this is okay here, below are my active WTB/WTTF. All 2016 Cubs, as you’d likely expect from me. I will update this post as I acquire stuff, so please check back for most current list.

Ben Zobrist (White House Visit) - raw

I may still have an extra Kris Bryant (WS Champs Set). I had 3 at one point, but don’t know if I sold one or two. I know I still have a PSA 10, but likely keeping that one.

Cool. Many thanks. Just PM me when you are able, and please shoot me pix of raw stuff and prices for whatever you have. I may have a line on a couple of these, so can update active needs at that time. Very, very most immediately interested in the Ross auto and Contreras auto (and would be really into a blue Contreras).

Just to clarify, I’m not interested in any PSA graded stuff for 2016–I want them all consistent in BGS holders to the extent I get them in graded form. Safe travels.

I haven't been following TBT that closely recently, but decided to see what they had released since the World Series ended to see if there is anything I just can't live without in my collection. After a quick glance at them, I guess I didn't miss anything. Is it just me is the program deteriorating rapidly because of the past designs they are choosing these days??

Looks like I have an extra 20 non SP'd Nicholas Castellanos #3s... I did buy 5 each of Judge and Castellanos but passed on Panik. I could use 5 Joe Paniks to make up 5 bundles if anyone has any extra and could use a Castellanos.

I'm going to likely be selling 90% of my NOW cards this season. Including a lot of base and autos from '16 and '17. Refocusing my collection and trying to tighten it up.

Will pay attention to this thread to see if I can fill holes for people. Going to be a process as I need to figure out values, etc.

ATTENTION 2016 CUBS COLLECTORS:

I am posting this to try to help out a hobby friend who is not a forum member, and also to try to help some of the Cubs and general TN collectors on here hopefully get some great deals on some nice stuff.

The non-member in question is my source for many of the high graded 2016 Cubs playoff cards in my collection. He has a new batch of graded stuff available, and he’d like to do some more direct sales because he’s being eaten up by the eBay fees.

He’s a really nice guy and I’ve done several deals with him in the last year totalling over $2500. Very reliable trading partner. Although I’m not 100% sure, I’m about 98% sure he’s a police officer. If he’s not an officer, he at least works for the Chicago P.D. in some capacity. He’s primarily just a collector who really loves the TN Cubs stuff, but he bought quite a bit during their 2016 run and gets it graded occasionally, keeps the stuff he needs to build his set, and then sells off the rest for what I think are insanely reasonable prices compared to what many (including several of the Plat members here) charge for comparable cards. I believe he is trying to save up to buy a Bryzzo Auto relic.

Right now, he has quite a bit of nice 2016 playoff stuff available, including:

—Numerous BGS 9.5 singles for $35-45 each
—Numerous BGS 10 singles for $55-75 each (including playoff Bonus cards)
—Several BGS 10 Black Labels for around $300 each
—At least a couple complete BGS 9.5 World Series Champs Sets (15 Cards) for under $600 per set
—A few playoff autos
—He also has a few 2017 cards, including several NLDS cards, in BGS 9.5 for $35 each

If you are interested in seeing specifically everything he has, PM me and I will put you in touch with him.

Although I’m not angling to be involved beyond putting potentially interested folks in touch with him, and while I’m getting nothing from any of this other than feeling good about trying to help a fellow collector who has been good to me, I will offer to be a voluntary, uncompensated middleman in any transactions if a forum member would prefer that. What I would have in mind is that you could agree to a deal with him and then he could ship the cards to me before you pay him, and then I’d ship the cards to you once you send him the PayPal payment. With that, you’d just have to reimburse me for the insured shipping from me to you. Again, I’m not wanting to do that necessarily, but I will if it helps anyone out in feeling comfortable with the deal since he is not a forum member.

Guy I know has #1 and #2 for sale...let me know if interested, I'd give him $300 so come bigger then that. Not sure the issue with the #2 but I think it is a coloring flaw that I've seen on just a few other cards. "Dark Letters"
