That is absolutely beautiful! I’ve never seen a 57 Mantle that perfectly centered in my life. Congrats!

Really like the Batter Ohtani card. Had he gone to the Cubs, I probably would have grabbed one of those. Like that much better than the Pitcher version from that line or the psycadelic metal scales Bowman WBC card.

Psychedelic metal scales Bowman
I like this description better than "mojo refractor"

Thanks. I think you improved upon it by spelling it right, unlike my sad and sorry self. Well done!

I got my Christmas present early.

I think I’m going to focus on Heritage Autographs for a long while. No more sticker autos for me!

Congrats and a Merry Xmas. That is a really striking card. Just love that pose.

If I could only keep collecting one line, it would be Heritage without question. Not only do I love the use of the vintage card designs, but I love how they use a ton of hyper-staged spring training poses like cards of the throwback era.

Some of the action shots on current Flagship and other lines like Stadium Club are really compelling in their own right, and I like those, too. But these Heritage cards just push buttons inside my brain that have a direct Batphone connection to powerful childhood sensory and emotional memories. (Even though I wasn’t quite alive yet in 1968 and didn’t start collecting until the early ‘80s, it was the cards of the mid sixties and seventies that I most coveted as a kid, and they were generally around in hobby shops and collections of friends’ older brothers and youngish uncles and stuff).

Thanks! Merry Christmas to you too.

I never really considered the Spring Training photo shoots they use for heritage. Makes them seem that much more special for some reason.

Plus I really like the card stock. Iím sure Iíll get sucked back into other lines. But for now Iím all in on Heritage autos.

Not really a ďpick upĒ though some were recently purchased, but most of these just came back from bgs. Lots of moncada

And this one is extra special as it was from the first ever box I opened with my daughter after she randomly pointed at it. so I got it graded to preserve

My sentiments exactly. I really like the card stock and the clarity of the photos. I also like how a group of them viewed together are so coherent. I resisted for a while because I generally donít like when something is rehashed for nostalgia, but these cards just push the right buttons for me.

For my Astros World Series project. Beltran, Corres, Giles, Harris, McCullers, Marwin, and Yuli. Down to needing only 7 more for the completed project.

The Mick was never hotter than he was when that card was being pulled by kids from packs, way, way back in '57. He was just coming off his historic Triple Crown season, and heroics with the bat and glove in the '56 World Series win against the Dodgers.

Topps laced The Mick and his fans with a striking card the following year, with his gaudy stats on the back— though it would be a card plagued with massive eye appeal issues. I'm sure many kids didn't care back then, yet in decades to come collectors would take note of its infamous centering, tilt, and image defects. It is even tougher than the 52T and 51B, which round out the hardest three in terms of rarity of centered examples.

Some are from December. Most from the past few months. Didn't upload pics until tonight. Also, nothing great compared to what others post.

Love that Maeda Five Star. Always liked how the Dodger blue looks against the gold of the 2016 Five Star
