Default December Pick Ups Thread! Post em up!!!

Didn't see one yet so I'll take the honor this month.

I had a couple rare ones in the mailbox today, the Sabathia in particular I have never seen before!

Also scored a Jose Ramirez Sepia to finish off my Topps Chrome RC refractor set:

Thanks, can't believe someone listed a Grady Red Refractor as a $0.99 auction.

At least you scored him on your fantasy team last year! Nice consolation prize.

Even now that I finally have it in hand, I can't believe it. Today's mailday will be hard to top for me. Beyond stoked.

The Red Crusade has landed.

It looks beautiful next to its siblings:

nothing crazy, but this was the last of the "basic" Judge rookie cards I wanted to pick up. Was watching ebay sales for a month or so. They were bouncing around. I lost a few at auction for $16-20, most BIN were at $30-35. Finally found one with best offer that accepted just under the PSA guide value.

Never really cared for it, as Bowman Platinum is my favorite. But I keep seeing it pop up and itís one I didnít have yet. I got all the main cards, and a couple parallels and serial numbered for my PC. I try not to stray since trying to collect all of his cards isnít realistic. But this one grew on me and is affordable. Glad I finally got it.

Just pulled this from a pack/box of 2016 Topps The Mint this morning. Entire break listed in box breaks forum but figured I would post it here as well. NFS

Outstanding card. They did a great job with that one and he held up his end with a smooth, full signature.

My two main pickups for the month:

Had been after a 1927 issue Ruth for some time. Signifies both the historic Murderer's Row team and the year he hit 60 homers. Added bonus is that it is one of the few chances to get a Red Sox image of Ruth. Major thrill to hold a card that circulated when Babe was in his prime.

The primo Judge cards have been few and far between yet was thrilled when one of the few hit eBay the other day.
