Why aren't the base card player images centered? That's the most offensive part to me.

And if you are going to go all fancy with the background, at least make the player the focus of the card.

That tiny player pic and 90% psychedelic weirdness is a bit distracting. A big player pic with the rest rainbow bright actually wouldnt be that bad.

At least Revolution basketball had on card autos in terms of design comparisons.

This could have been a great set had they worked on the design a little more, took out all jersey cards, made 1 per case hard to get on card autos, put in a 2 per case SB MVP insert or something actually collectible like that, and made it $45 - 55 a box

Yeah I gotta hear why on this. Those horrible photos of the players making mean faces and this terrible design with all that foil. How does that make this a must buy? I'm genuinely interested. I wouldn't open this even if someone else paid for the boxes.

So Revolution but for football? I would be in favor of that.

im sure some player collectors still buy it, and with not alot of people opening it, could be a good break? not sure.......player collectors pretty much buy every new card that comes out no matter what if you sell lower end singles.

I think the guy saying the box & packs look great is on to something, this might have been really nice in black like that with minimal crazy effects.......

Don't you think it says something when your described situation is the truth? That is a sad state of affairs.

I just think that the way this set is designed and the horrendous photo decisions just make this one of the worst products I have seen in a long time. Add in a terrible layout, look and theme and it becomes a freaking train wreck.

I think the number of player collectors, especially non rookie has and continues to dwindle significantly. It was the only thing that was keeping me interested in the hobby, but when it went from 300+ cards per year to 350+, 400+...etc I lost complete interest. I can't even imagine what the numbers are like now with all this crap being produced and the manufactured scarcity. Haven't even looked at a checklist since score this year.
