that was 2 years ago yes. i paid $15-$20 for golds just back in january of this year. the market really spiked in november 2016. anything before that was still cheap.

Yeah, I remember Jumbo barely having Silvers. But if you consider, say, 1000 Jumbo cases with 10 Silvers each, that would still represent about 25 extra Giannis Prizm. Still quite rare though.

I busted 3 boxes of 2013 Prizm over the summer only because I picked them up for $60 apiece.

Box 1 had a Tim Hardaway Jr Prizm Gold

Box 2 had a Dennis Schroder Prizm Silver

Box 3 had a Kelly Olynyk Prizm Silver

only one Giannis base in the 3rd box. Only one Auto parallel, a Kenneth Faried Silver Auto #/25

Crazy.. i rmember last year after he hit the game winner his stuff spiked and i ran to the lcs and grabbed all 10 they had and ravaged through them in the car. First box had a giannis blue ref. Should have stopped there and held the boxes lol

Can't believe base prizm GEMS are getting this much. Almost like base prizm cards are a better investment prospecting in basketball than the highend stuff when it comes to risk/reward these days.

i can believe it. lebron topps chrome bgs 9.5s go for $700-$800 and have hit $1000. there are over 6000 lebron chrome graded by bgs alone with almost 3000 9.5s.

2003 topps chrome was massively overproduced with the lebron hype, 2013 prizm was under produced cause there was no big name rookies in that class. i mean the #1 pick was anthony bennett! lol

giannis prizm bgs 9.5s are starting to bring $170 ish now and there are only 1041 graded and only 759 9.5s and 185 10s.

a big grading outbreak happen with giannis prizms around january and the pop report went up almost 10x. i think that almost every giannis prizm rc that "could" get a 9.5 or 10 is already encased and a lot of the raw ones are crack outs and cards that people know wont gem but will be 9s.

so with that being said i think they are still undervalued. that is if giannnis becomes the new face of the nba after lebron like 95% of people think he is going to be.

plus the rookie card is the way to go. autos have been fading in popularity for years. look at baseball and has been like this in basketball for almost 2 years now.

i would much rather have a nice rare low # rookie parelell or base card then an auto. they are just too played out now a days.

Nice stained glass that panini said was less than 20! I have always wondered how many gold versions were made. It must be more than 20. Can anyone look up the pop report on gold and teal stained glass cards (I think there was a green version also) from 2013 innovation?

yup! the only problem with those is that they are not numbered which sucks! cause a lot of people dont realize how rare those purples and light blues were. i have a few tim hardaway jr ones that are sp to 60 and 20. supposedly there are only 20 of that card.
