Default Threatening Ebayer..Watchout!

propayrules

scenario:
1. put a lowball offer on my (31) card 2008 A&G Game used/Autograph Lot for $40
2. I respond by telling him to get a life and counteroffer $90
3. I blocked him
4. He sends me this email:
Dear Junior,
Thanks for blocking us. We will put you on our restricted list for our regular ID as well. We will also send your ID to all of our buyers on our Beckett Marketplace storefront (currently close to 1500 on our mailing list ) so they know not to do business with a child who sells out of his parents basement as you do. Thanks for reminding us that we should stick to dealing with real hobby professionals.
5. What should happen out of this?

6. Another email:
Dear matts_cardz,

Ok JUNIOR. LOL typical behavior from a small town hick from Ohio. We used to love going to the Steubenville Mall shows and dealing with the likes of you. You have a lovely evening. Thanks for the laughs JUNIOR.

They have a feedback score of 10 w/ private comments turned on. I wouldn't worry about it at all. Just leave them blocked and move on.

I learned real fast when doing a best offer to automatically decline prices for low amounts. I had a guy offer $125 for my Signs of History that sold for $1200.

This guy is a typical internet douche, I wouldn't think much of it.

i bet if you didn't make the ridiculous comment about getting a life...... none of this would be going on.

either accept, decline or counter........ it's almost like you wanted him to respond.........why?

Decline or counter offer OR fix the best offer to automatically decline prices for low amounts, Should of been your better respond.

Its funny that when I go into my auction to revise it, the box is checkmarked for my decline offers lower than X and my offer price is in there...must be a glitch in ebays system...and as to why I told him to get a life, he had it coming..

I am from the Steubenville area. That was the show to go to other than when they used to have the one at Wheeling Park Stone Room.

So lemme get this straight..you open yourself up to be in the position to get lowball offers? and you get a said lowball offer? and you make a smartass remark in return? and you are offended that he got offended?

Did you think he would accept your counter after you told him to "get a life?" Why even counter if you were just going to block him? I have made offers of what I was able to pay for things at the time. On more than 1 occasion I offered more than 50% less than the asking price and it was accepted. It never hurts to ask. The worst that can happen is the person says no.

I didnt open myself up to be lowballed...I stated in one of my posts that I marked the decline offers lower than $80 option and somehow ebay let this one through...and to let you know NE I am not cheap and I dont lowball people...if lots of A&G g/u go for $75 plus dont you think $40 is ridiculous? or is that just the economy we are living in today?

If you expect to get $75 for the lot I wouldn't call $40 ridiculous. $5? Yes, but $40? Not ridiculous in my opinion.

I guess im just getting sick of the cheapos out that that offer you $50 less than what something goes for...I keep getting all these offers for things that are under my declined offer option, I guess Im going to have to talk to ebay about that..

Can we all just stop the bickering...$40 was too low of an offer, matt probably shouldn't have responded with the get a life thing, and the guy shouldn't have been a douche about it.

Listen to Kirby

Well since everything has been resolved, now would be a perfect time for me to pull this one out. Can't figure out a way to use it in context, which sucks cus this is the best gif I have ever found.
