Contenders rare inserts

I was looking over the PDF with info what is in contenders this year. It talks about some very short printed inserts. Does anyone know what they are and how sp they are? Is the hall of fame the hard to find one? What is the rookie throwback set? There is a Magic Johnson on eBay for a $699 bin. He says it is a 1 out of 20 case insert. Other listings say they are 1 out of 12 cases. How rare is the hall of fame insert? Thanks for the help.
