Default Official World Series Thread - New York Yankees & Los Angeles Dodgers

So who you got winning the title this year? Two rookie phenoms who will win ROY. Some great starting pitchers for LA. Some great hitters for both teams. Discuss

Not concerned about the Yankees actually clinching first...? If they go on to lose this series you know it's all your fault, right...?

Yankees fans and the Judgeheads are going to be all over you if they end up blowing it.

This was not a good idea.

I'm rooting for the Yankees, and I don't believe in all the JINX, but I just find it silly how some people feel like they have to be the very first one making a thread, even going so far to write about something that hasn't even happened yet.

Dodgers, like to finally see another NL West team win it. Dodgers finally made it back, every other NL West team has made it to the World Series since 1998

They also rush to be the first to post about something that happened in a certain live game (football, baseball, etc)

Why are folks interested in talking about the 1981 World Series? (Or is it '77? '78?)

Hopefully you are not on hornyfrog's ignore list. Otherwise he will never find the official World Series thread!

With a name like hornyfrog, being on the ignore list would be a big blow to me.

I did this with the Warriors/Cavs two years in a row. Seemed to work out ok. This just seems like the matchup that works the best for MLB and their fans.

If Yanks win game 6 in Houston, I think they have the momentum to go all the way. CC as WS MVP?!

Not everyone but about 6-8 that are as obnoxious as they come.
Keeps me from posting more often.
Immaturity runs deep with some folks here.

My only hope is that the Yankees are as dumb and cocky as the OP is.

No such thing as momentum in baseball.
