Harreleon or Clarke thatd be awesome.
hamill has other projects outside of star wars that he's working on. that's the main reason why he hasn't signed for topps yet. and topps has no idea when he'll be able to sign, there's no confirmed date. and he hasn't done any signings in quite some time.

harrelson is 100% not a chance. he's difficult to get on the street. he hates signing. and clarke is probably close to 100% not a chance with all of the game of thrones stuff she'll be doing

if they haven't already signed for topps, then they probably won't be attending celebration

All I’m saying is you know nothing and theyve not said anything, so this is all speculation on your end.

and i meant i'm not going to buy a plane ticket, hotel room, plus admission when most of the signers will be from the star wars rebels cartoons

I don't want to tell you what to do, but the convention offers a whole lot more than just getting some OT signatures.

And suggesting Mayhew retire because you don't like the way his signature looks is silly. He's never had a consistent signature, anyway. Would you turn down a Ralph McQuarrie signature from his later days where it was just a shaky "R.M.Q."?

To each his own.

Wow, just posted on Facebook Event page that Friday is now sold out and Thursday has <200 tix left. Also, kids 5-day are sold out but single day kids tix are still available.

I'm really curious on the Thurs and Mon guests, specifically because Thurs has no stage programming and is only for shopping and celeb stuff and Monday seems to be the odd day added on, which should mean more content Sunday.

Honestly, with the Mandalorian previews/teasers and now Resistance has debuted, those could be two major panels in addition to Ep 9 and I'm sure something about 20yrs since Ep 1 and celebration started.

The BEST would be if they got Ewan and Liam to show up and then announce during the panel a spin-off Obi-Wan movie finally!!!

Official pix is having a signing with Mark Hamill in either Feb or March which pretty much rules out a celebration appearance. Ben Stevens, one of the OPIX owners said Hamill will skipping it this year. Stevens also said expect Mark's signing fee to be $395 for 8x10s

seems like he's choosing to do a signing with opix rather than with topps. topps is in charge of bringing in autograph guests

I think something happened between Hamill and LFL. I just have this nagging feeling that the relationship is fractured. I have no real evidence to support my assertion, just a feeling I have.....

At $400 a pop for an auto, I'm fine if he stays home.

I mean it was clearly obvious he wasn't happy with TLJ and was very vocal about it.

He's the rare breed of actor who loves their part and knows their character intimately and cares about the story provided.

I could see him maybe not signing or anything with Topps, but if he's not going to be at Celebration at all that's a huge blow.

We've already lost Carrie and Kenny, Ford is a rarity, Lucas may or may not attend and Mayhew isn't in the best health. That leaves us with Daniels and McDiarmid and Christensen.

The biggest concern I have is I don't know how long the Rogue One crew will do cons and it seems like they can't get or won't let Boyega, Ridley and Driver do photo ops and signings.

If you take out all of those pieces, what's the point in even going?

I got VIP passes, but I'm strongly leaning at selling them to pay off my wedding expenses than just see a few panels that will be streamed and buy merch that mostly ends up online for the public anyways.

Warwick Davis announced to host again. So he won't be in the autograph hall, most likely.

I haven't ever seen a panel live that he's hosted (I didn't camp out/get up insanely early for main stage wristbands at Celebration Orlando 2017), but I loved his panel with Carrie Fisher and Gary streamed from Celebration London.

If anyone is willing to do autograph commission during this, I need to get one 11x17 signed (depending on the guests).

There's a lot more than meeting actors at these. But if that's all you really want to do then yeah, there's not much point in going unless they announce some new signers you want.

I'm not interested in the Resistance voices (unless Bobby Moynihan shows up), but I still don't have a JAT auto yet. I hope the autograph area is run better this time. I miss Official Pix.

Hopefully the add some better names. As of now I am probably gonna sell my VIP with no Hamill and Ford and not one person who interests me I am seeing no reason to keep it.

There are far more reasons to Celebration then just a few autos
Yes they will continue to add names up until about a week or 2 before the actual event.
They typically start with lower end and then work up to the top.

Exclusive time shopping at the store that won't take up regular convention time, early access to the show floor to aid in getting manufacturer exclusives, guaranteed access to all the panels on the main stage without camping out?

Lol its called a slow roll. They've damn near sold out of all tickets already so honestly theres no need to even wait, but I get it builds up hype.

Bigger names will come, but while you can expect the main cast for an Ep 9 panel I wouldn't hold your breath on them doing photos or signing anything.

Yes I get that but if I already have a regular pass and a vip gonna sell one. Don't see it being worth keeping the VIP when I can get 3-4K for it and pay for my entire weekend with rent left over.

3k-4k for VIP?

I've seen a ton selling for cost and $1.5k-$2k.

Maybe a few will pay that though.

If you see any VIP at cost or under $1500 grab them asap. Wait till these pop up on eBay. People were offering over 3K when they came out and have sold for more in the past. Even 5 days are gonna go for double at this point. But of course everyone on fb will have the same sad story and want them for cost
