Cash is a no/no I believe. We can't openly gamble here but talking cards is ok. If you want to do a gambling cash league please don't post that here. I dont want to see this closed

I was thinking to get in the league you have to send the card your offering to join to the commissioner. We do that today not at the end of the season. If that card goes up in value then so be it. If it goes down in value then so be it. It is what it is. Members send the card to the commissioner who holds the cards and sends them together to the winner at the end of the game. Card value is based off Ebay averages. Then everyone knows in advance what the winner will get at the end of this.
Fantasy sports for cash is not illegal as it is not considered gambling (check your state laws).

I also think something like a 20-itrader minimum for league participants should be implemented.

Can you update the OP with the names of people who are in?
Totally agree again with you. Minimum iTrader will be 20 to join. And points should be known and documented before we start up. Want to post your scoring so we can discuss it? Some like ppr, some like TD point differences per position, some like point differences for length of FG, are we going IDP or Team defense? These are the things that we need to vote on. I go with majority rule always, never liked dictatorships.

I'm just checking in now on a break I'm expected to draft soon in and heading off to bed. I will update the OP with members of the league tomorrow.

We have a commissioner and we are not doing money, just cards. But you can join if you wish.

In. Definitely PPR, 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1TE, 1 RB/WR/TE, 1 K, 1 DST.

Scoring is: fractional points to 2 decimal points, 1 pt for 10 yds rushing or receiving, 1 point for 25 yds passing, 4 pts per passing TD, 6 pts per rushing/receiving TD, bonus points for milestone rushing/receiving/passings yardage (TBD), 2 points per 2-pt conversion as pass/rush/reception, 1 pt per PAT, 3 pts per FG (1 extra at 40 yds at 2 extra at 50yds+), and for DST use standard scoring (but no points for yards against).

This might be might be a stupid question but will special teams points go to the DST or individual scoring?

Also have we decided how we will pick who is a vet member and who is not?

BO hasn't stopped cash fantasy leagues. We just went through the start of fantasy baseball where I joined two money leagues on here. I'd be down to join a money league. Haven't done an auction draft for football but that's a solid option.

Ok thanks for your input on the rules and joining. Everyone needs to speak on this as well but some issues I have with it...

Ppr - not a fan myself. Makes pass catching rbs much more valuable then rushing rbs and bumps up some wrs and drops big play wrs.

4 points per passing td vs 6 points per other td scored - To me a Td is a Td regardless of how scored

We all will need to speak on this and let majority rule

Keep signing up guys. Not sure if its full or not, I will know later today. I'm on my phone at the hospital and need to be on a pc. Also if we reach 12 and more signed up we can possibly use reserves.

I set it up on Yahoo (for now, we can always switch if people want). Right now I set it as primarily the defaults with some minor tweaks that people in the past have been behind, but we can always change things as long as the changes occur before the draft.

Right now it's set almost exact to what you have above oddly enough (I set it before I read your post, great minds think alike I guess ).

The only differences are that it isn't set for PPR and there are no milestone bonus points.

Also, it is set for punt/kick return TD's to go to the team defense for 6 points and in addition to the starting lineup you listed, there are 6 bench spots. Once again, anything can be changed, opinions and thoughts more than welcome.

Another minor tweak is that interceptions are -2 as opposed to the yahoo default of -1. Fumbles lost are also -2.

I like interceptions as -2 but think fumbles lost should be -1.

Fumbles lost should be -2, fumbles should be -1 (if you can do that).

I prefer to use Yahoo as well. Played 3 leagues with it last year and like it much better than ESPN

lol, I think exceptions can be made.

There should be a deadline for entry "fee" so we can replace anyone who for whatever reason won't be able to participate.

Anyone who is for sure in, please PM me your e-mail address so I can invite you to the league and give you the password as it is set for invitation only. You can then look over the scoring/roster system and make any change suggestions you may have.

Please use your blowout ID in your team name somehow so we know who is who.

tolrobb don't do that bud, your likely to get some people who haven't posted here wanting in. Wait until I update the OP with memberships. I want everyone to be up front about this who is joining

Also post up the scoring rules you setup so we can discuss. Glad to hear there isn't a ppr and yardage bonus. I am not a fan of either

I agree with -1 for fumbles and I think we should add some milestone point to keep things interesting....just my two cents.

so far, the only two people who have been sent invites not including myself are:

yankeesfan24
Falcons_fan

both have posted in the thread, but that's a good idea. If you want an invite, please post in the thread and once you have been added to the OP, you will be sent an invite. Don't want to end up with 15 people in the league, lol. Any suggestions on due date for entry fee? I think we should give people at least a month.
