I just watched the video it just say authentic.I can't find any that say authentic auto do they all just say authentic if there not graded?

The card is a BGS Authentic card with an auto, therefore it goes to the BGS Authentic + Auto slot, which just happens to be mine.

EDIT: If anyone doesn't see where this makes sense, or you have a different idea, we can ask a MOD to mediate.

I've had some crazy luck with cards lately, that's all I can say! I was a bit disappointed when I saw the BV and SV of the Verlander auto though.

I'll look into another case, but I have a lot of other breaks going on right now, so I may not want to take on another one.

It's easy to tell the difference. The "BGS Authentic Auto" will have the JSA logo on it as well since JSA authenticates the auto itself (which I believe this card had).

I'd guess it is possible to simply get a "BGS Authentic" which happens to have an auto but no JSA cert, in which case that would go to the "BGS Authentic" slot.

There is no JSA cert on the card, but I don't understand why there would be, when the auto is a Topps Certified Sticker auto.

To me, the BGS Authentic slot is for slabbed cards that BGS has said are authentic. The BGS Authentic Auto slot is for the same cards that have an auto. Authentic auto just means the card is authentic, and it's autographed.

I am not 100% sure myself.

I was under the impression that you could get BGS to authenticate the card, which would be "BGS Authentic" and/or BGS to authenticate the auto, which would be "BGS Authentic Auto". They do actually offer a service to authenticate the auto, so I wouldn't necessarily say "BGS Authentic Auto" = "BGS Authentic, plus it has an auto on it".

I assumed the BGS Authentic Auto is used mostly for cards that are signed in person, like this one and they carry the JSA logo as JSA does the work on authenticating the auto itself.

While the BGS Authentic is used mostly for non-auto cards and cards where the auto does not need to be certified by BGS/JSA as it was already certified by another party (like Topps).

At the end of the day, it is only like an $80-90 card and will not make me or break me. I'd suggest we can take the consensus of the group, ask a mod or sell the card and split it.

BGS authentic would most likely be the BVG authentic Slabbed card like ruth or mantle vintage something in that nature.

There is a auto grade on the back of the label also so sorry Zeero but even if it was a $500 card it is still nhsportsguy card

I think since it does have a auto it should go to nh.Hopefully you can do another one and if you do I say take the BGS+auto spot out and raise the price per spot alittle to avoid the confusion again

Group has spoken - card is yours. Sorry, I wasn't trying to scam you out of the card. I know BGS actually has a separate form and separate address to send cards for auto authentication and they do get the JSA logo. That's why I had asked. Thanks for hosting.

I seriously doubt anyone thought you or I were trying to scam one another, we just had different opinions. I was open to suggestion, but it seems like people are agreeing with me, so I guess that's how we'll leave it.
