This is a good swap for both sides, I think. Brown needs some discipline (Bill B, maybe) but was solid (and he need to keep his weight under control). But he's good and talented. Niners picked OT yesterday who I imagine is more Shanahan scheme-friendly and will start.

Pats don't need the headache of a raw prospect in the twilight of Brady's career. Win, win.

So now potentially both Wynn and possibly Brown can both enroll at TB12 to help them monitor and control their playing weight.

From multiple sources, here's what I have re: the Gronk rumors. Told Belichick wanted to trade him. Offers on the table w both the Titans and 49ers. He and Robert Kraft had a closed-door meeting to discuss. Tom Brady threatened to retire if the deal went through. Kraft nixed it.

I wasn't that impressed by him. He's certainly not a bum but a stiff breeze will trip him up. He has 0 tackle breaking ability

Went to training camp yesterday, first time at Gillette, now I really want to try and get to a game this year.
Just a couple points that I noticed, hard to see everything, but what stood out to me.

Dorsett and Hollister both made tough catches, I expect both to have decent years. I wouldn't be surprised if Dorsett has 50+ catches this year.

Edelman looked like Edelman

Brady took some time after a drill to talk to Patterson on technique off the line+, Brady even played DB against him for a couple scenarios/ off the line situations

Gilmore had a nice pbu on Brady on a throw to Hogan

Etling looked better than expected, as usual he was the first on and last off

McCarron dropped 3 punts from the machine early in practice, didn't drop/muff any from Allen/ Bojo, Berrios and Burkhead muffed 1 each. I would rather see Berrios make the roster over McCarron, wouldnt mind both staying on 53 or PS.
