I wish they would give this product a bit of extra special attention since right now, it's probably their biggest license.
I know their plate has to be pretty full right now... but seriously... this is ridiculous.

I dont mind the Delays. As long as its worth the wait. We seen how much of a bust that Big Bang S5 was... No Auto Wardrobes, No Cuoco Autos, Fewer loaded boxes (this is why I used to love crypto), and all around ugly card design IMO.

If you are paying for presale items with paypal, my advice would be to make sure you are using a credit card to fund the purchase. Because you probably won't be able to get your money back from paypal if the product doesn't come out for several months after you pay, you would have to get your money back through your credit card.

That said, it shouldn't be an issue if you are buying from a reputable site with a pre-sale guarantee like BO or DACW, etc. If you are shopping for the lowest price and go with some other seller, do everything you can to protect yourself (like pay with a credit card).

I see two cases sold on eBay. One for $850 and an offer was accepted on the other listed for $900 OBO on Jan. 15 both by the same seller.

+100000

I understand the frustrations as I'm a huge collector of WD as well. But I also understand that certain things are to blame as well and not just crypto. Like certain actresses and actors returning their cards very late, probably due to all the comic cons they are attending.

As Danny stated, I'd rather wait and have it done right instead of another BBT5.

Hi guys, haven't been looking at this thread for a while. Are there still just 2 promos so far? (Non-Sport 1&2?)
Thanks, Rande

Yes, from what I've seen, there are two promos for Season 3 cards thus far.

Yes. One promo for each part; two total.

Default Release date

Has anyone got a release date yet? I can't find one anywhere and I'm getting a bit annoyed how it keeps getting pushed back.

I've been seeing mid march..but with Crypto not updating their site with what actors have returned their autos, maybe that's too early. Unless crypto is just busy and hasn't gotten around to updating their site or wants to announce all the autos are back at one time.

Cryptozoic is working on it at the same time as Series 1, and I think it's supposed to come out only a month or two after. Probably would have been better to spread them out 6 months apart though...

The simple fact is in trading cards, preorders are necessary for how this business works, on some releases. It's much different than any other business I've ever encountered.

I'm being forced to buy a lot of Hobbit to secure all my WD, so my answer is to do a preorder for Hobbit, but not doing it till I know for sure when the set comes out. Quite honestly preorders are a pain in the a$$ due to the 30 day coverage via paypal.

I'm as anxious as anyone for this set to come out, so will def let everyone know the moment I hear anything concrete. I was guessing Mid March and End of May from today's emails, but again who knows lol.

Vincent Ward auto card photo has been added to website:
The Walking Dead Trading Cards Season 3 Part 1 | Cryptozoic Entertainment
Hope this means they'll receive all the autos in the next few weeks.

Awesome! So glad to finally see an update on this set. Certainly hoping to get at least a case of the product. Any guesses on what the redemption may be for this set?

Nice to see the autograph style is in the same style as season 2. I HATE when they change the layout completely like they did from seasons 1 to seasons 2

Nah not released in the next few weeks. I mean that hopefully we will get to see lots of the auto cards come back in the next few weeks, which will lead to the release soon. It's taking way too long!

The Walking Dead Trading Cards Season 3 Part 1

In this uncertain, apocalyptic world, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his band of survivors must not only fight the dead, but also face a whole new fear: the living. Driven from their sanctuary at the Greene farm, Rick and the other survivors find a new home behind walls once used to contain the threats to society, a largely abandoned prison. Although the group struggles to secure their new residence from the dangers within, they must soon come to terms with a new danger, a nearby survival community. Collect every intense, nail-biting moment as Rick, Lori, Maggie, Glenn, and the other survivors fight to survive in this new and dangerous world. The Vince Sunico sketch card looks cool, but its a little cartoony for the tv set.

This is honestly a more realistic look than the ones he did from S1... believe it or not.
